We're so excited to see you on the water this Saturday for our Learn to Row event! Here are a few important reminders to help your morning go smoothly:

📅 Date: Saturday, June 6th
⏰ Time: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
📍 Location: Craftsman Park – 4450 Rex Lake Dr, Akron, OH

🚗 ARRIVAL
Please mind the speed limit as you drive into Craftsman Park — 5 mph. Slow and steady!

✅ WHAT TO BRING
• Sunscreen
• A hat or sunglasses
• A plastic water bottle
• Gym shoes (we row in socks, but you'll want shoes for walking to and from the boathouse)
•Wear gym clothes but no basketball shorts.

📋 WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Upon arrival at the boathouse, you will sign a waiver and pay the $25 participation fee. We accept check, cash, or Zelle.

🇺🇸 VETERANS
If you are a veteran, your participation is completely free! Please bring your veteran ID or discharge paperwork when you arrive.

We invite you to join us for the Learn to Row event on June 6th, 2026, at 8:30 am.
Our Novice program will take place from June 13th to July 25th. The program details are as follows: Duration: 6 Saturdays (excluding July 4th) Time: 8:30 AM Cost: $195 per person plus tax, totaling $208.16. Registration is now open on our website at PLRA.club.

Hey- PLRA members- our US Rowing Learn to Row is June 6.
We will need many hands to assist with the day. Please let us know if you will be able to join us.

Please note. We will NOT be having the Veterans only Learn to Row on May 16th. Please sign up for the June 6th Learn to Row.
