Our next race is going to be a blast! We will race Dominator from the Street Outlaws in a three run match race. We'll bring the flames trying to match this cars wild performance!
As a bonus the Southwest superchargers will be there doing their heads up supercharged racing as well.

From our friends up north, what do you do if you have a few days and want to do something different? Fly up to Wrangell, Alaska and get ahold of Sunrise Aviation Inc.. Then have them fly you out to The Lodge @ Whale Pass for a little r-n-r and unplug.
This is only one of many places they can take you, how remote do you want to get?

Runner-up Finish for the Fire Cracker nationals.

We finished with a runner-up this weekend with an all new motor (short block) and what a coincidence, in the final with the same team as we ran against last year with a different result.
Congratulations to the Arizona thunder team and
Sheldon Lofgreen .
In the final round we both ran 4.33. Sheldon's better r.t was the difference and a margin of victory of .024 seconds. A great race.
Our new combination has turned out to be a challenge getting it figured out and what it wants. So we were definitely soft for the weekend. I will say it was great to bring it home in one piece.
In the first round we got the opportunity to race youngest son David Stringer driving Tony Lewis new top alcohol car. They have been working hard to get the bugs and gremlins figured out on this car and this was their first pass the car went A to B. Then on top of that David beat us. At the top end, the look on Tony's face and the emotion, you could tell it was huge and I want to say congratulations to him and Angie and David for getting it to where it is so far. I'm sure there's a lot more win lights in the future.
And yes I lost the first round but due to the format and number of cars the quick loser was reinstated for the semi. I won the semi-final to advance to the final round.

As always thanks to my amazing crew for all the help and getting me to where we are at with the new combination. There's been a lot of work.

It's great to have everyone else and family at the track as you can see by our new cover photo. The July 4th race in Albuquerque has become a tradition for us and the entire family to come up and hang out and burn some fuel. Thanks Robert Bartholomew and Brian for coming. Thanks to Dennis Atwell for coming and keeping us fed, this time bbq ribs hit the spot! Thanks Mom for helping with the records. As always thank you BUG Gianna Leffew for bug duty.
Thank you to the rest of the family and everyone else that came and hung out and helped and ate and had a good time.
Shout out to Alien City Rod Shop and Mike Baker. Car got a lot of compliments and attention this weekend.

This is my chance to give a huge congratulations to my friends and team mates Warlord racing and Paul Vinyard Paul Fields and Jose and the rest of the team. They entered the new 430 index class. In the second round of qualifying Paul went 4.26 at close to 9000 ft d.a. and I believe during the eliminations he was .00 on the tree.. is this guy ready to go drag racing or what?
Paul v has put a lot of time and effort and money into this for a long time and has had a vision and has kept after it! All the effort and stress is finally paying off.
Thank you Kevin Lee Ramey for all the help and showing both of us the new combo. I have enjoyed it.
