We wearing ORANGE this week for ADHD Awareness! Shoutout to our staff for showing their support! 🧡
ADHD is more than being “easily distracted” or “hyper.” Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain manages things like attention, organization, impulse control, memory, and activity levels.
ADHD can look different in every person and it doesn’t only affect children. It can continue into adulthood and affect people across all ages and backgrounds.
Most importantly, ADHD is not a character flaw, laziness, or the result of “bad parenting.” With understanding, appropriate support, and effective treatment, people with ADHD can thrive!!
This ADHD Awareness Week, let’s replace misconceptions with understanding, reduce stigma, and create more supportive environments for everyone. 🩵
