From the Open through the #8.5, the Riata Championships will feature divisions for every level of roper and some 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐬.

A 2017 buckskin stallion and own son of the legendary 𝐂𝐃 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝. standing at St Clair Performance Horses in Kahoka, Missouri, owned by Mike St. Clair.

𝐒𝐉𝐑 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐤 brings the total package: striking buckskin color, powerful conformation, sharp cow sense, and the trainability breeders and riders dream about. He's proven it himself in the arena — $𝟐𝟖,𝟗𝟎𝟔 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 in Reining Cow Horse and heeling with only limited showings — and he's still out there competing actively in roping events today.

As a Riata Buckle eligible sire, he opens the door to 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 for his foals. His offspring are already showing the heart and consistency it takes to compete at the top of roping and cow horse events.

SF Bonnie Pep or "Kane" as he is known around the barn — is a gray AQHA/IQHA Quarter Horse stallion standing at St Clair Performance Horses in Kahoka, Missouri, and owned by Mike St. Clair. Foaled January 1, 2014, this 15.1-hand, 1,400 lb stallion (IQHA #5646364, 6 Panel N/N) pairs a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝, making him a solid option for breeders targeting both looks and athleticism.

Kane's pedigree blends a Hancock-influenced sire line with a Playgun-influenced dam line, both built for performance in and out of the arena.

Kane holds a Record of Merit (ROM) in heading and heeling, with AQHA points earned in both events and starts at Riata Buckle and Royal Crown roping competitions.
