What a wonderful weekend at our GMCC Member-Guest Golf Tournament! ⛳️

A huge thank you to all of our members, guests, and incredible staff who helped make the weekend so memorable. From our fun ’90s-themed nights to delicious food, great drinks, and plenty of time spent together, it seems like a great time was had by all! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this year’s tournament one to remember!

Still reminiscing after an unforgettable week at the Epson Tour!! ⛳️✨

The tournament was won by Mirabel Ting on the 1st Playoff Hole over Rachel Kuehn after both players finished at 15 under Par. This was the first professional win for Florida State Alum, Mirabel. She also won the NCAA Player of the Year award while at FSU.

The support from our GMCC membership was amazing! Our membership volunteered in assisting with so many aspects of the event, from the build-out on the golf course, to hole marshals, starters, riding scorers, and the countless members who housed players in their homes. Every player who requested housing was taken care of.

The folks from Tour Vision as well as the staff from the Epson Tour were awesome to work with. The young ladies on the tour are phenomenal players and even nicer young ladies. It was a special week at the Club, and we look forward to hosting the Smoky Mountain Championship next August.

Thank you to our GMCC staff! Food service received many compliments from the players and Epson Tour staff. Kudos to Jon, Andre, Kat, and the food service team for their hard work!

Scott and the Pro Shop staff handled the Pro Ams and Cart staging for the entire event without a hitch.

Last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Brad Fox and his maintenance crew, who had the course in pristine condition.

We’re excited to offer this volunteer opportunity on Wednesday night for members to help before the Epson Tour starts. Anyone volunteering will need to park in the St. Ives parking lot on hole 9. ⛳️

We are so excited to host the Epson Tour starting next week, August 3rd - 8th. ⛳

A couple of reminders for everyone:
- There will be complimentary tickets for members available in the Pro Shop and the GMCC Office

- There will be no parking available on site the week of the tournament

- Parking will be available at Green Meadow United Methodist Church across the street from the Club (shuttles will be available to drop you off at the Club)

- The bar will be open for GMCC members (no public access)

- There will not be GMCC food service available during tournament week

- The Pool and Tennis facilities will be closed during tournament week

The Club will be back open with normal service and hours on Sunday, August 9th
