Join Pioneer for a Special Girls’ Baseball Clinic: Sun, May 31, 5:30-7pm, Clermont Park

We believe girls belong on the baseball field, and we’re excited to partner with DC Girls Baseball for a special girls baseball clinic led by experienced DCGB coaches! All girls (age 7–18) are welcome; no prior baseball experience necessary! Participants will take part in a fun on-field practice, learn new skills, meet other girls who love baseball, and hear about the many opportunities available for girls to play baseball at every level. Girls baseball is growing fast — and it’s bigger than you think!

Pioneer Baseball mourns with the rest of the Northern Virginia baseball community the tragic loss of a true giant, Rob Hahne. There truly was nobody like Rob; he was an irreplaceable figure in the region. He will be missed.

The season is humming along and even more players are finding their stride, leading their teams and having a day out there on the ballfield! Enjoy some of their stories with this week’s Players of the Week!
