🐺💚 NEW THIS YEAR: HUSKY HAND ME DOWNS!

We’re excited to introduce something new to the Allen Park Hockey Club this season — Husky Hand Me Downs! 🏒

We know how quickly hockey gear gets outgrown, and we also know how expensive getting started in hockey can be. So this year, we’re creating an opportunity for gently used equipment to find a new home with another player in our hockey community. 💚

Have hockey gear sitting in the garage or basement that your player has outgrown but is still in good condition? Donate it to the Huskies! 🐾

We’re accepting gently used:
🏒 Jerseys & socks
🛡️ Chest protectors
🥅 Gloves
💪 Elbow pads
⛸️ Skates
🏒 Sticks
🦵 Shin guards
👖 Hockey pants with padding
🥅 Goalie equipment

Please make sure donated items are clean, gently used and free of holes or major damage.

As always we are looking for volunteer coaches on the ice. Don’t hesitate to reach out 💚

REGISTRATION FOR OUR FALL 2026 SESSION IS NOW OPEN!!! 🎉 Our program is a low-cost, low pressure way for kids ages 4-10 to learn how to skate! Please note that we are not a figure skating program and all skaters will eventually move to our Hockey Academy side of the ice, where they will learn how to handle and shoot a puck, work on hockey specific skating skills, have chances to participate in scrimmages, and much, much more! 🏒 Our program is led by John Brithinee, who has coached hockey in Allen Park (& beyond!) for over 30 years. Our program is NOT for players currently rostered on a team or actively playing hockey.

Parents, start making those plans now… because apparently hockey season is about to take over our social calendars. 😂

Between practices, games, tournaments, team events, fundraisers, road trips, and all the rink time in between… we’re officially entering Hockey Mom & Dad Season! 🏒🥅

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. 💚

Let the late nights, early mornings, rink coffee, frozen fingers, loud cheers, and Huskies Howl begin!
