Yesterday, the Allen Park Hockey Club was proud to co-host a “Paint the Ice” event with the Allen Park Parks & Recreation/Community Center team! It was an awesome day filled with fun, creativity, and a great way to celebrate the end of another long and successful fall, winter, and spring hockey season.

Thank you to all of the players, families, coaches, volunteers, and community members who helped make this season — and yesterday’s event — such a success. Seeing everyone out on the ice one last time made for a perfect ending to a great year.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing summer! Enjoy the break, make some great memories, and we’ll see you back at the rink this fall ready for another exciting hockey season ahead. 🏒☀️

Today’s final away game isn’t just the end of our season — it’s also Mother’s Day.

No matter how tough, emotional, or competitive a season can get, one thing has always made this team special: the camaraderie our players and families built together. 🫶🏼

So for our last game, let’s make it about the MOMs.
The early mornings. The cold rinks. The car rides. The snacks. The laundry. The encouragement after hard losses and the cheering after big wins.

Let’s put everything else aside for one afternoon and make this a positive, memorable experience for the kids and families.

As both the manager of this team and a proud hockey mom, days like today, after a full weekend of battles, remind me just how grateful I am for our Hockey Mom Pack.
Some of these bonds run deep and have stood the test of time. Others are new and just beginning to grow. But every single one of them matters.
The village we’re building together through this team is something truly special - something I personally couldn’t navigate this journey without.
So from one hockey mom to the rest of the pack: cheers to you today. Thank you for the heart, the support, and the joy you bring. Not just to this team, but to the world around you. 💚🏒

8U Huskies had their final game of the spring season last night and we are so proud of them! Many came from learn to skate, some skaters continued from fall or moved up, but one they all had in common was heart, hustle, and progress 👏This group had so much fun together at practices and jamborees , and the growth in skill, as well as love for the game really shined! 💚
