Big news for Dallas Figure Skating Club!⛸️

We’re proud to announce that three Dallas FSC competitions have been selected to be part of the inaugural U.S. Figure Skating National Showcase Series!

📍 Texas Trophy
October 1–3, 2026 | Plano StarCenter

📍 Bunny Hop Open
November 8, 2026 | Plano StarCenter

📍 Love Bug Open
February 6–7, 2027 | Northlake StarCenter

The 2026–27 National Showcase Series creates a competitive pathway for showcase skaters, with skaters earning points throughout the season toward qualification for the annual National Showcase.

Our very own Amber Glenn will be on DANCING WITH THE STARS this season! Let’s all cheer her on!!

🌟 Congratulations to Sophia Joson — our 2025–2026 Dallas FSC Skater of the Year! 🌟

Sophia has had an incredible season, being both a National Showcase medalist and serving as President of the DFSC Junior Board.

Her dedication, talent, leadership, and commitment to the Dallas Figure Skating Club make her so deserving of this honor. We are incredibly proud of you, Sophia! 💙

✨Congratulations to Liza, Ellen, and Rayne!✨These three are among several Dallas Figure Skating Club skaters who earned the prestigious Jim Morris Award for the 2025–2026 season and were recognized at both our annual meeting in May and annual picnic in July.

Established in honor of longtime DFSC member Jim Morris, who developed the first personal computer program to process figure skating competition results, this award recognizes skaters who achieve a significant milestone by passing a U.S. Figure Skating Gold or Senior test.

In recognition of this accomplishment, Dallas Figure Skating Club proudly awards each qualifying skater $50.

Congratulations on this incredible achievement—we’re so proud of your hard work and dedication! ⛸️💙
