To start our summer off, we are taking a trip down memory lane to highlight some of our favorite moments from every varsity sports team on campus!
Men’s Cross Country finished third in the NESCAC Championships in the fall. Juniors Harrison Dow and Stan Craig, first-year Carter Bengtson, and senior Henry Dennen all finished within the top-20 to guide the Mammoths to third place.
Craig and Dow earned All-NESCAC First Team nods and Bengtson earned NESCAC Rookie of the Year from their placing in the meet!

Senior attacks Emily Petersen and Kate Becker, and junior midfield Mia Raven earned First Team nods, while senior attack Bridget Finley and first year defense Jordan Kauftheil were selected to the Second Team.

THEY’RE IN! Congratulations to on officially making it to NCAA Championships!
The team earned the NESCAC’s automatic bid after taking home the title at the conference’s annual tournament, this year held at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. The No. 5 ranked Mammoths took the title with a surge in the final round, winning by one stroke over runner-up Middlebury. Play will begin on Tuesday, May 19 in at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif.

She’s on a roll! Sophomore Tina She of earns yet another accolade, taking home the ITA Player to Watch Award!
She has gone 24-4 (86 percent) on the year and is currently the No. 3 singles player in the country according to the ITA. This is just the latest in a slew of awards for the Canadian, who has racked up NESCAC Player of the Year, First Team Singles, and Second Team Doubles honors in addition to a CSC Academic All-District selection. She will compete in the NCAA Singles Tournament starting next Friday, May 22 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Recognition from the ITA! Congrats to senior George Chaidemenos of on winning the Northeast Region’s Most Improved Player award!
The senior earns this honor after going 15-6 at the no. 2 spot this season after putting up a 13-4 mark competing solely at the sixth spot during his junior season.

Congratulations to our All-NESCAC selections!
Pitcher Saahi Jetti was named NESCAC Co-Rookie of the Year and All-NESCAC First Team, where he is joined by senior infielder Tyler McCord and junior outfielder Charlie LaFreniere. Senior pitcher Naaveen Narayanan and sophomore infielder Aiden Dubetsky were selected to the Second Team.

After 35 years at the helm of , Head Coach Jackie Bagwell announced her retirement from coaching earlier this week.
One of the longest tenure coaches in the conference, Bagwell retires with 530 total dual match wins, including a 504-152 (.768) record at Amherst. She built on of the most successful programs in the nation, having coached her teams to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 24 of the past 29 Tournaments and winning a National Championship in 1999. More importantly, she leaves a behind legacy of leadership, dedication, and care for every player she coached.

Softball All-NESCAC selections are here! Congrats to Lulu Leppard of on an All-NESCAC First Team selection!
Leppard finished the season ranked fifth in the NESCAC in batting average (.446), slugging percentage (.713), and on-base percentage (.504) and sixth in OPS (1.217) after leading the team in all four categories.

Congratulations are in order for our four CSC Academic All-District selections from the team!
To earn Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be of sophomore academic standing with 3.50 cumulative GPA and be in the lineup for at least 75 percent of an institutions’ days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).
