I’m in Vegas RIGHT NOW with my family!
We’ve had so much fun walking around, and during gap in the plans my sister-in-law and I slipped out and hit the hotel gym.
She did yoga and I lifted. A 30 minute workout later and we were both back with the family, freshened up, and were ready to go!
Here’s why that matters.
1. Your environment doesn’t get to decide who you are:
The moment you let a change of scenery change your standard, you’ve told yourself that your discipline was always conditional. And conditional discipline isn’t discipline. It’s just convenience. The man you’re building in the gym, in the kitchen, in the mirror every morning… He travels with you!
2. Momentum is fragile and most men don’t respect that:
You come back from a 3-day trip feeling sluggish, heavier, mentally off and now you’ve got a hole to climb out of that YOU dug. It didn’t have to be that way. 30 minutes protected everything. The week didn’t break and the progress didn’t reset. That’s not obsession, that’s just being a good steward of what you’ve built.
3. How you do ONE thing is how you do EVERYTHING:
When you show up for yourself on a Vegas trip, you show up for your family differently that day. You lead differently. You’re fully present because there’s no guilt sitting in the back of your mind. Discipline in one area bleeds into every other area and I’ve seen this over and over again in the men I work with. That’s not a coincidence. Discipline multiplies discipline.
30 minutes. That’s all it cost.
Don’t let a change of scenery change who you are, I believe in you!

Hey, I wanted to refocus what’s important real fast!
The “anabolic window” is real, but it’s way wider than the fitness industry made it seem. We’re talking hours, not minutes.
And so what ends up happening is guys will stress about slamming a shake the second the workout ends, and meanwhile they’ve been undereating protein for three days straight.
Lock in your total daily protein first, get that consistent, THEN you can start dialing in the timing details.
Don’t let the small stuff distract you from what actually moves the needle!!
