‘68 Martin D-28 ReTop.
I was surprised to see a small Brazilian Bridgeplate in this guitar. I reached out to my old Boss, he actually did write a book about Martin Guitar repair, and he had not ever seen or heard of one either. He helped me figure it out. April 9th, 1968 serial 235586 to 1969 serial number 242454, they used the small 1 3/8 Brazilian plates. This one is serial number 241427.
Brazilian 1 3/8” plate it is.
