Raptors, Let’s Keep Hunting!

We start off our players of the game from our win against the Legendz this past weekend with the one and only Omar Pagan as our Honorary Alpha Raptor. Omar suffered an unfortunate injury early in the game after intercepting the ball in our end zone and taking it all the way into the opponents redzone. Omar is a true Raptor in all accounts and with his talent and teamwork he will be missed for the remainder of the season and wishing him a speedy recovery.

The Apex Predator of the Game is the player that exhibits all the qualities of a hunter with intensity while also leading by example. The player that earned this recognition is Josh Butler. Josh was relentless in the backfield serving up a Raptors record of 7 sacks. Josh knows what it means to be a true leader especially by example.

Next we have our Defensive Player of the Game, Deandre Pearson. Deandre showed tenacity and true grit stopping big runs, recovering fumbles and of course scoring a touchdown on defense alone is warrant enough for this recognition.

Up next is our Offensive Player(s) of the Game, The Offensive Line. Devon Wolf, Ken Esquible, Joshon Sharp and Joe Whitehouse. These guys were a wall not allowing a single sack the entire game. With an injury setting us back from our starting center, we had the right people step up and make it all seamless in transition.

Lastly, our Special Teams Player of the Game is Dayshawn Jones. The only real time the opponent actually kicked the ball off to us led to a coast to coast Touchdown. Shredding the kickoff team, leaving them in the dust.

Congratulations to all these players, we continue to grow and take it one game at a time! Raptor Nation, Let’s Hunt! Playoffs, here we come!
