Your purpose does not have to wait for marriage.

You can desire companionship and still build a meaningful life in the season you are living now.

In Chapter Five of my upcoming book, Single and Blessed, I share a message called “Purpose in the Waiting Room.”

Sometimes we become so focused on what we are waiting for that we overlook what God has already placed within our reach—a gift to develop, someone to encourage, an opportunity to pursue, or healing that needs our attention.

Being single does not mean your life is standing still. And marriage is not a reward for becoming perfect.

Your well-being, growth, and calling matter today.

This week, choose one gift you have been neglecting and take one practical step to use it. Start small. Make the call, write the first page, or offer the help.

Sometimes rejection hurts so deeply that we begin questioning who we are. We measure our worth by who chooses us, who stays, or whether we are married.

But your value was established by God before anyone entered your life. Being single does not make you less worthy, and heartbreak does not erase your purpose.

When your identity is rooted in Christ, you begin making choices from a place of worth. You can desire love without losing yourself trying to keep it.

Take time to heal, rediscover your gifts, and grow in your faith. Your life has meaning in this season, too.

There are so many prayers behind this smile.

I’m grateful for life with my family, the privilege of serving children and families through ministry (KRN) and preparing to release my second book. Yet there are still things weighing on my heart—prayers I’m still praying and answers I’m still waiting for. This journey hasn’t been easy, but God has stayed with me through it all.

To everyone who has supported me, listened, prayed, and encouraged me—thank you. You have helped me more than you know.
