Hudson has shown major interest in racing karts but I still believe his heart is in the mechanical side of things.

Fun story...

When Hudson was 3 we were at a big race and he was messing around with the air compressor. His Dad and I were so busy we didn't realize that he let out all the air in every tire he could find.

They called our class down to grid and we couldn't push the kart stand. It took us a minute before we put together what had happened.

We had 5 minutes to put air in the Kart tires and kart stand but when we went to start blowing up tires the compressor was out of air! We were in a mad dash to make it to this race!!

We showed up just as they were rolling out for the Feature. We made it and Weston placed 2nd in his first regional race.

I give mom props for trying to learn all this karting stuff. She does in fact know what a clutch is and even knows how to set one up on my kart.

She's spending a little too much time on tik tok at the track so I think she needs to "reel" that in a bit 😉
. but at least she's having fun!! 🤣

Nice save to keep him in the game! It was a wild weekend at MCC summer Nats. We had challenges one after another but still always manage to learn and have a great time 💙

Weston was so upset when he wrecked in summer nationals feature race!

I told him "It's ok, these things are going to happen."

He replied with "Mom, im sorry I'm so upset but this is my dream!" 💔❤️‍🩹
