Another great night for Team Apex.

Congratulations to **Zion Bailey (13-4)** on a hard-earned victory over **Zion Hill (9-4)** this past weekend on **Conflict MMA's** card in South Carolina.

It was a very technical fight between two skilled athletes. Bailey stayed patient and stuck to the game plan, made the right adjustments, and earned the victory.

A huge thank you to **Conflict MMA** for giving us the opportunity to compete and for a great experience, and to **Zion Hill** for an outstanding challenge. Much respect to Mr. Hill and his Team.

Now it's back to work.

In two weeks, Team Apex heads to the **IKF World Classic** in Las Vegas with five Kickboxers representing our gym on one of the biggest stages in amateur kickboxing. We can't wait to see what this team accomplishes.

Tomorrow night, Zion Bailey is back in action.

After weeks of hard training, early mornings, sore bodies, and countless rounds in the gym, it's finally fight night. Zion Bailey (Apex Martial Arts) and Zion Hill (Carolina Kickboxing Academy) both made weight, and tomorrow they'll meet in a 155 lb K-1 Rules bout at Conflict MMA in Florence, SC.

We're proud of the work Bailey has put in this camp. Every session had a purpose, and he's earned the opportunity to step in there and showcase what he's been working on.

Thank you to everyone who's supported him throughout camp—his teammates, coaches, training partners, friends, and family. Your support means everything.

A packed Level 1 class tonight! It's always great seeing new faces on the mat and watching our program continue to grow.

No matter your age, fitness level, or experience, everyone starts somewhere. Our Level 1 program is built to help beginners learn the fundamentals, get in shape, build confidence, and become part of an amazing community.

Apex Kickboxing Team went 2-1 at Carolina Fight Night this past weekend, and we're proud of every athlete who stepped into the ring!

🥊 Mak () kicked off the night with a strong performance, earning a Unanimous Decision victory in his IKF Unified Rules bout.

🥊 Luther () followed with an impressive showing in his IKF Kickboxing Rules (International Rules) matchup against a tough opponent, also securing a Unanimous Decision win.

🥊 Isaac () took center stage as the co-main event. After nearly a year away from the gym, he stepped back into the ring with only a couple of months of training. While the result didn't go our way, we're proud of his willingness to test himself and grow. Every fighter's journey includes challenges, and Isaac gained valuable lessons from his first loss that will help shape his future success.

A special congratulations goes out to Team Captain Cole Fister () for the outstanding job he did preparing the fighters and leading from the corner throughout the night. I'd also like to recognize Zion Bailey () for his hard work, support, and coaching in the corner, and for even leaving a wedding early to help the team.

I'm incredibly proud of how far each member continues to grow—not just as fighters, but as coaches, training partners, and cornermen. Thank you all for being such a kickass team!

The action doesn't stop here. Zion is back in the ring on June 27th in South Carolina on the Conflict MMA card. Two weeks later, Cole, Zion, Mak, Isaac, and Luther will head to Las Vegas to compete at the IKF World Classic ().

It's been an exciting first half of the year for Team Apex, and we're looking forward to what the next six months bring.

Our next event is Carolina Fight Night on June 13th in Fuquay-Varina. This will be the last local event for our fight team in 2026 before the remainder of our competition schedule takes us out of state.

The following weekend, Zion Bailey, our current IKF Certified Welterweight United States Unified Rules Champion, heads to Florence, South Carolina to compete on Conflict 70: Magic City Mayhem. Zion will face Zion Hill in what they're calling the "Battle for Zion."

Then July 10-12, Team Apex heads to Las Vegas for the IKF World Classic, the largest IKF tournament of the year. Fighters from across the country will be competing, and we'll be sending:

Apex Martial Arts had the opportunity to sponsor Oak City Havoc in this year's Cary Cup hosted by TST (The Soccer Tournament). The team is formed by players from Carolina Velocity and represents a highly competitive group of athletes from the local soccer community. The Cary Cup brings together talented teams from across the region, providing players with the opportunity to compete at a high level while representing their clubs and communities.

Apex Martial Arts is proud to support Oak City Havoc and the development of young athletes both on and off the field. Sponsoring the team reflects a commitment to teamwork, discipline, leadership, and dedication, which are values shared in both martial arts and competitive soccer. We are excited to support these athletes as they compete in one of the premier youth soccer events in the area.

Eddie put on his best performance to date, starting to look like a true kickboxer.

Harshed had a tough fight and got the win against a solid opponent.

Great weekend in Nashville Tennessee for Team APEX

Luther made his debut with a dominant performance winning by unanimous decision.

Mak had his 3rd amateur fight with a great performance bringing his record to 2-1.

Zion was supposed to have a 7 round fight for the USA title, But unfortunately his opponent didn’t make it to the fight so Zion won the belt via Forfeit, not the way we wanted it but that’s the way the fight game goes.
