Sharon is an E-RYT 500 and YACEP whose teaching is grounded in making yoga accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student.
Her calm, encouraging teaching style combines clear instruction, mindful movement, and opportunities to explore each posture at your own pace - whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years.

This longer, unheated practice blends steady movement, mindful breathing and moments of stillness. You’ll move through a thoughtfully paced sequence designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness, with time to slow down, refine your practice, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and restored.
Beyond her regular classes, Sharon has also led 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings, restorative yoga teacher trainings, and continuing education programs for yoga teachers. We’re excited for our community to benefit from her knowledge, warmth, and years of experience - we can’t wait for you to practice with her!

Our Membership Pause Policy is flexibile and simple:
• Pause anytime for a minimum of 1 week.
• Pause for up to 3 months at a time.
• Pause up to 4 times per calendar year (up to 6 months total).
• No pause fees. Ever.
• Your membership automatically resumes on your selected date.
• Membership benefits are unavailable while your membership is paused.
Whether you’re traveling, recovering from an injury, welcoming a new baby, or just need a little time away, your membership can adapt to your life.
We now offer two unlimited monthly memberships: Unlimited Yoga for $169 per month, and Unlimited Yoga plus up to 8 barbell classes per month, held Tues/Thurs evenings at 7p and Sunday mornings at 9a.
Our new member intro offer is $45 for two weeks of unlimited yoga.

It’s hard to believe we’re almost one year in!
We thought it would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves and share a little about who we are and why we built Soulful Strength Yoga.
Soulful Strength Yoga is a place to move, breathe and enjoy the process of taking care of yourself.
Our classes range from quiet and restorative to strong and challenging, heated and unheated, traditional and athletic. Every teacher has their own style, and we think that variety is one of the best parts of having a practice. Some days you need to slow down. Other days you need to work hard. Both matter.
We didn’t come to yoga from only one path.
Before opening Soulful Strength Yoga in August 2025, we spent years coaching and participating in a wide variety of sports and fitness disciplines: bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, triathlon, marathon running, hiking, obstacle races, and, of course, yoga. As personal trainers, we’ve also spent more than 20 years helping people move better, get stronger, recover from injuries, and stay active for the long haul.
We know there are plenty of people who enjoy that same mix. Maybe you lift weights and practice yoga. Maybe you run, hike, play sports, or simply want to feel strong enough to keep doing the things you love for decades to come. Or maybe you’re just getting started and looking for a welcoming place to learn.
That’s why we built Soulful Strength. We wanted a place that reflects the way we like to move - where yoga, strength, mobility, endurance, and recovery all have a place. We are excited to continue bringing more of these things together under one roof.
The classes we offer at Soulful Strength are built around the workouts and practices we continue to use in our own lives. They’re what help us stay strong, mobile, resilient, and excited to keep moving, and we’re always looking for new ways to share that with our community.

We’re excited to announce a brand-new offering in collaboration with !
The Soulful Strength Sprint Club will meet outdoors in Apex on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM, with each workout lasting approximately 50 minutes.
🏃 Tuesdays: Speed & Technique
Learn proper sprint mechanics, improve acceleration, and develop the skills that help you move faster and more efficiently.
⛰️ Thursdays: Speed Endurance & Conditioning
Build power, stamina, and athleticism through thoughtfully programmed sprint workouts, including hills, plyometrics, and conditioning drills.
Workouts led by Kayla Foy, former Division I Sprinter at NC A&T (100m/200m), and Nicki Thurston, Ignite Fitness Director of Sports Performance. These sessions are designed to help participants train with purpose and see measurable results.
This program is ideal for:
✔️ High school and college athletes
✔️ Recreational runners
✔️ Fitness enthusiasts
✔️ Athletic-minded adults looking to add structured sprint training to their routine
We’ll also include regular performance testing throughout the program so you can track improvements, celebrate progress, and see the results of your hard work.

We love yoga and we love seeing people get STRONG, so we offer both.
Barbell Strength training, following the 5x5 protocol, is great for anyone interested in a program optimized towards building muscular strength.
If you’re new to training with a barbell, or not sure if you’re ready, we have Intro to Barbell classes on Fridays at noon, and soon on Sundays at 8:00a - where we will guide you through how to safely lift with a barbell, along with any modifications or alternatives.
These classes are also a great fit for athletes in the offseason who want to build strength and muscle, as well as middle and high school athletes looking to develop confidence and proficiency in the foundational barbell lifts before entering more advanced high school or college strength and conditioning programs.
