It was a great morning on the water with these two. This was their first experience fishing Baker. They put the wood to some nice fish!

There have been some BIG Sockeye around this year. Shawn was lucky enough to catch 2 absoulute hawgs in the same trip! They went 8 and 9 pounds, respectively. Just a pound and a half shy of the state record!

Another fun day at Baker with these two. Many were lost, but some nice ones were landed! These Baker Lake Sockeye always stay in great shape through August.

An awsome day with some of my "Ride or Die's" for their annual trip. It was a later bite but we came through with some nice fish, including the 7lb beast of a Red on the left!

Something about this does it for me. Maybe it's the mist and fog sifting through the top of old growth forests. Or the turquoise colored glacier water. Or maybe it's the bucket 'o Sockeye salmon!

What a great way to kick off August, with limits of Sockeye on Baker over the weekend! They've certainly been finicky this year but, we've been pulling out all of the stops to get them.

What an action packed day! Great time having these two on the boat again. They had an absolute blast catching LIMITS of Baker Lake Sockeye yesterday!

Mack's Lure Smile Blades and Smile Blade Sockeye Pro's have been putting Sockeye in the boat and meat in the freezer up at Baker. I've mostly been running the 0.8 and 1.1 sizes. If you can't tell by the hooks, the set up in the pics has caught a fish or 3 😉.
