Sometimes my Navigator Jen says things on the intercom that I don’t even hear until I’m editing. I’m driving the boat, trailering it or just focusing sometimes. You gotta listen til the end of this clip! I didn’t catch it real time. Her sense of humor is off the charts.
Soooo we spent a little time on the beach this weekend🤦♂️. This was our second run on day 1 and I was pushing too hard, too early. Sometimes it takes a few runs to figure out not just your line, but where the little waves are that can drastically alter the path your boat is on. This one grabbed way harder than I was expecting and I was late to counter-steer. We were lucky we put it back on track and finished the run. Jen’s commentary makes me laugh every time…I think she’s having fun, what do you think? I wish I would have taken a picture of our impellers because this little excursion absolutely hammered them and took almost an hour to file, contour and get them back in shape!

We have our winners for the spool-down challenge! The actual time from the livestream was 1 minute 52 seconds. Our first place winner with a guess of 1:54, is Eric McMillen! What a weekend! Triple podiums for our team drivers & navigators with a huge thank you to for letting our guy Alex & KD get behind the wheel of their newest Jetspeed LS boat and brought home the 3rd place in their first race ever! Jen & I got a solid 2nd and Dustin & Dawn wrapped it up with a great 3rd place in the superboat class! Next stop….Webbs Slough in 6 days!
