GIVING HONOR WHERE HONOR IS DUE...

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave men and women who answered the call to serve in the days and years that followed.

We are especially grateful for our first responders, military members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and all who serve and protect our communities. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

As a small way of saying thank you for your service, we always offer a 10% First Responder Discount on golf. Anytime you’re in the clubhouse and want to play a round or two, just mention your service and we’ll be happy to extend the discount any day of the week.

PAUSING TO SAY THANKS ...

Today is Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, and we wanted to take a moment to say thanks to the ones who keep the game on course at Wanee Lake Golf & RV Resort.

A heartfelt thank you to Demecio for his dedication, leadership, and countless hours of hard work. His passion for the game, commitment to excellence, and pride in what he does have played a tremendous role in shaping Wanee Lake into the course so many of our guests and members know and love today.

We also want to recognize our incredible grounds crew. Every member brings their own talents, expertise, and attention to detail, and together, they work tirelessly—often behind the scenes—to keep our course looking and playing its best, day after day. Their hard work may not always be seen, but it is truly appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

A great golf course doesn’t happen by accident. It takes dedication, teamwork, early mornings, long days, and a genuine passion for creating an experience golfers can enjoy.
