Daily Cycle AVL

Day 7- We attended a stunning and fun family wedding in the Olympic Valley/Tahoe area, with good company, and beautiful scenery. There were beer burros (mini donkeys with saddlebacks filled with beverages) and lots of catching up with extended family. Sunday we hiked the 5 Lakes Trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Monday we headed west along the California Trail, with better provisions and better weather than the Donner family.

Day 4: Utah and Nevada- ‘now we’re doing some truck $hi¥!’
We left Golden, CO to get some more miles in and camped in Rabbit Valley; yes, we saw some. Yesterday, we took a side quest, off roading through Black Dragon 🐉 Canyon in Utah to see petroglyphs attributed to the ancient Barrier Canyon culture. We ended the day wild camping by on BLM land along with the meadowlarks, sagebrush, and yellow rabbitbush.

Day 3 of the Western Adventure- Foosball tournament in progress while getting our Wanderfox Lair installed on the truck, after getting some beautiful knives from the Spiderco factory store. We camped our first night in Graham Cave State Park in MO, and second night at a friend’s place in Denver.
