It was a special evening last night for Ryan as he got to open for Jimmy Clifton here in Asheville.

Jimmy is an amazing christian musician and song writer and his writing has inspired Ryan in his own writing. He’s inspired Ryan to be bold by being vulnerable and to share the good news of the Gospel!

Ryan opened the program by spinning a basketball and honoring Randy Shepherd. Ryan then transitioned and expressed his gratitude to Jimmy Clifton for inspiring him. Lastly, Ryan shared a spoken word testimony called “Jesus Set Me FreeStyle”.

Big thanks to Jimmy Clifton, Pastor Timothy Brown at Radiant church and to Michael Crawford for their help with this special opportunity 🙏

Late yesterday evening, Friday September 25 Ryan went to Wilkes Central High School for their 5th Quarter! He spoke and shared his testimony and spun the basketball.

Pastor David Dyer then shared a message and closed with an invitation!

Over 50 people came forward!

Praise the Lord.

This afternoon Ryan went to the Community School of Davidson and shared his testimony and the Gospel with the Football team!

During the invitation there were 21 professions of faith! Praise God!

Today Ryan teamed up with his Father in Law (Billy Ellenburg) and they spoke to the football team and coaches at Mt Pleasant High School!

Billy shared a great Bible lesson and even had the kids participate in it! They were laughing, cheering on teammates and were challenged and encouraged by his message! He crushed it!!!

Then Ryan shared his testimony and the Gospel with the team.

There were 4 professions of faith in Jesus today!

Praise God!

Today Ryan went to Pisgah Methodist Church in Hiddenite, NC and preached. The sermon was titled “What are you counting on to get to heaven?”

Jesus’s name was proclaimed and the Gospel was shared!

Ryan’s wife, Ashley and baby Sloan sang a beautiful rendition of “Jesus Loves Me”

Crossfire Update!
Remembering Randy Shepherd today.

Exactly 2 years ago on this day of September the 19th, Crossfire’s Randy Shepherd passed away.

Randy and Jamie began the ministry with the desire to plant seeds and reach many for Christ ! Even though Randy is now with the Lord the ministry will always remember Randy while continuing to share the gospel as we go.

One day we will see Randy again but until then may we all humbly reach as many people as we can.

The picture in this post was taken when Randy and Jamie were in Israel with brother Ralph Sexton. This was at the entrance of the Jordan River baptismal area where many go each year.

Earlier this evening Ryan & Jamie had the opportunity to share with the Mars Hill University football team.

Ryan opened with his testimony and spun the ball while also mentioning the importance of trusting in Christ. Jamie followed Ryan and shared the gospel. There were 24 players that made professions of faith.

After the prayer of commitment, Jamie explained what to do next as new believers. It was a great evening.

Thanks to Coach Barnette who invited Crossfire to come today !

Please pray for the other players who were present as seeds were planted.

This afternoon at 3:55 Pm, Ryan & Jamie had the opportunity to share with the East Henderson High Varsity football team. Ryan shared his testimony then Jamie followed and shared the gospel !

We are thankful that the FCA student-athlete leader, “Sammy Ballard”, invited us to come in to their voluntary football huddle today to share.

There 15 players who made professors of faith today.

BJ Laughter was there as well and as always BJ, FCA does an amazing job of following up and making sure the players are assisted in taking the right steps in their walk with Christ !

Crossfire also fed the team before they boarded bus to head out to their game.
