What an incredible Fourth of July weekend! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate Aspen's 250th anniversary of American independence with such pride, respect, and community spirit. Because of you, we enjoyed a safe, festive, and memorable holiday weekend.

A special thank you to aspen and for an unforgettable free community concert that brought everyone together to kick off the celebration.

We were honored to have Aspen Olympic gold medalist serve as our Grand Marshal, helping lead one of our community's most cherished traditions.

The carnival was a fresh new addition to our celebration and we hope you all got down to Rio Grande park to experience a few rides.

And off course to the for the bringing the Hercules C-130 for our parade flyover

These events wouldn't be possible without the incredible dedication of our aspen staff and partners. Thank you to our Parks Department, Streets Department, Police Department, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and all of our first responders who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our celebrations safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.

Finally, thank you to the volunteers, parade participants, local businesses, sponsors, and every member of our community who helped make this year's celebration so special.

Ages : 6-12
What: Chess Wizards offers summer vacation camps for children 6-12. We’ve developed an interactive day-camp format which includes all kinds of activities to keep kids both physically and mentally engaged during their time with us. Team chess games, puzzles, skill-building, and team and individual physical games are just some of the ways we integrate the whole person into our camp activities. A sample day might include exploration of a technical chess concept, fun group challenges which hone specific chess thinking patterns, a healthy snack, a mini-tournament, capture-the-flag, and blob tag. Or creating and designing your own chess piece to be used in a practice game with your new friends.
