We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately — but definitely not because we haven’t been busy.
Here’s one of the projects we completed recently at Gilmer County High School. Charles Black Construction built the school’s new Performing Arts Center, and ACS Landscape Management brought us in to handle the artificial turf installation for this exterior area.
The before-and-after on this one speaks for itself. What started as a bare construction area is now a clean, finished, low-maintenance green space that ties in perfectly with the new facility.
A big thank you to ACS Landscape Management for trusting Turf Restoration & Design with the turf portion of the project. We always appreciate the opportunity to work alongside other quality contractors and help put the finishing touches on a project like this.
We’ve got a serious backlog of completed projects to share, so there’s plenty more coming.

The transformation is obvious—but what really matters is everything underneath.
At Turf Restoration & Design, we believe a premium installation starts with a properly prepared foundation. Every project is built with long-term performance in mind because the base is what determines how well your turf drains, how stable it stays, and how it looks years down the road.
✔️ Premium artificial turf
✔️ Professional base preparation
✔️ Clean, seamless installation
✔️ Built for excellent drainage and long-term durability
✔️ Designed to complement the existing landscape
The result is a low-maintenance backyard that’s ready for family gatherings, co****le tournaments, entertaining friends, or simply enjoying your morning coffee—without worrying about mud, weeds, or hauling gravel back into place.
We don’t believe in shortcuts.
Done once. Done right.
If you’re considering artificial turf in North Georgia or the Atlanta area, we’d be happy to show you the difference a professionally engineered installation can make.

Most artificial turf and putting greens don’t need to be replaced… they need to be professionally restored.
This green had years of embedded debris, matted fibers, contaminated infill, and inconsistent ball roll.
After a full restoration:
✔ Turf fibers standing back up
✔ Cleaner and faster putting surface
✔ Debris and organic buildup removed
✔ Improved drainage and appearance
✔ Restored overall playability
A quality turf system is an investment — proper maintenance can dramatically extend its lifespan and performance.
We specialize in:
• Putting green restorations
• Turf deep cleaning
• Pet odor treatment
• Infill replacement
• Turf rejuvenation & grooming
Before replacing your turf, let us evaluate whether it can be brought back to life first.

Most people throw rock down and call it “low maintenance.”
But let’s be real… nobody actually uses it.
This spot went from dead space → the best part of the backyard.
No mud.
No mess in the pool.
Just a clean space you actually enjoy.
Rock fills space.
Turf creates it.
