Thanks to this hardy 9 man crew who came out to celebrate National Trails Day with us by getting their hands dirty at our Bull Mountain Work Day.

We did some serious work on the infamous whoop di do drains and some corridor work to knock back the ole green tunnel which is growing in fast as we approach the summer season.

Special thanks to the Blue Ridge trail tech Jesse and his intern from the CNFS for coming out to lend a hand !!

This combined workday between Northeast Georgia SORBA and the North Georgia Mountain Bike Assoc and these good people gave 36 hours of their Saturday which equates to a $1,204.64 labor donation to the Blue Ridge District of the Chattahoochee National Forest!

MTB Atlanta and North Georgia Mountain Bike Association Announce Merger to Strengthen Mountain Biking Across Georgia.

The North Georgia Mountain Bike Association will be the unified organization serving riders, trails, and communities throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta.

This merger brings together two highly successful Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association trail advocacy organizations with a shared commitment to trail stewardship, rider development, community engagement, and expanding access to world-class mountain biking opportunities throughout Northern Georgia.

“This merger represents an opportunity to unite our strengths and create a stronger future for mountain biking in Georgia,” said Executive Director Brett Davidson. “Together, we can better support our trails, our volunteers, our partners, our donors and the growing number of people who enjoy mountain biking and outdoor recreation across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia."

Take a Kid Mountain Biking next Saturday at Mount Tabor Park! This FREE event is from children ages 3 to 16. Show up at the Mount Tabor bike trails to learn more about riding and bike safety! You will need your own bike/tricycle, helmet, and we recommend bringing something to drink.

The event starts at 10:00am and ends at 12:00pm. You can register online or show up! We look forward to seeing you there, Paulding County, Georgia!
