Continuing our celebration of 50 Years of Superbikes, we remember the late, great Nicky Hayden.

“The Kentucky Kid” made history in 2002, becoming the youngest rider at the time to win the AMA Superbike Championship at just 21 years old. That season, Hayden earned nine victories, including the Daytona 200, before taking his talents to the world stage and ultimately becoming the 2006 MotoGP World Champion.
