Flew down to Southern California for the inaugural UF1 - Ultimate Formula 1 Grand Prix championship over the weekend where we piloted the Exotek F1Ultra R5. The race format for F1 expert class is a 10 minute qualifier with triple 15 minute mains, along with 2 mandatory pit stops to add to the scale racing! The racing was hard fought as we chased the set up all day, especially with track conditions swinging from high grip at the start of the day, to low grip at noon and then back to medium grip again for the last 2mains. But with all of that we managed to secure TQ, fast lap and the A main win for the championship!
It was great hanging out with the F1 gang and awesome to see all of the F1Ultra's on track again!
FYI- it was open rubber f1 tires and the wining tires were Exotek 40x fronts with 33x rears. Absolutely stuck!

The next batch of RC10 parts are now in stock. Just released are these heavy duty shock towers for small bore shocks along with heavy duty wings mounts. Also in stock is the rerelease of the finned B5 motor plates!
The front tower provides extra ball cup clearance along with more steering with the new ball stud location.
