Time for another edition of the Friday Baseball Show! Stan and Griffin will be looking back at the past week of Orioles play, some rough series against the Rangers and Twins whom the birds are in direct competition with for the final AL Wild Card. Oh, and the road ahead isn’t getting any easier as they get set for a four-game set in Tampa this weekend facing a Rays team with the best record in the American League. It’s a make-or-break weekend for the O’s, the guys will break it all down. At 10:15am, we will enlist the help of the great Peter Schmuck, longtime Orioles writer now with BaltimoreBaseball.com, to get his thoughts on how the trade deadline played out, the job Mike Elias has done and much more. At 10:40am, we’re going to check in with our friend Dan Zielinski from BaseballProspectus.com to get his thoughts on the Adley Rutschman trade and to help us breakdown the return the O’s got for Adley and what we can expect out of the prospects who came over from Boston. Finally, at 11am, we will check in with PressBoxOnline.com editor Luke Jackson to get his thoughts on the Adley trade, Mike Elias’s future and so much more.
