Over Valentine’s Day weekend the IHS Dance Competition Team traveled to Baltimore, MD for NUVO Dance Convention and Competition. We’re so proud of how hard all six of our dancers worked in their classes all weekend and we loved getting to try new things from all of the amazing artists. In addition, our dancers competed their contemporary and pom routines and the awards we received are below:

4th Overall Teen Group (Contemporary - I Won’t Complain)
5th Overall Teen Group (Pom - Shake)

3rd Overall Teen Contemporary Group (I Won’t Complain)
1st Overall Teen Specialty Group (Shake)

Palladium Contemporary Adjudication (I Won’t Complain)
High Gold Specialty Adjudication (Shake)

We would also like to recognize one of our dancers, Laila Foster, for a StandOut in Hip-Hop Scholarship by the talented during the convention.

Thank you so much to all of the families who made it out to attend our NUVO weekend and support the team! We had such a great time!

Over the weekend both the IHS Dance Competition Team and IJHS Dance Competition Team attended WPHS Winter Invitational! We had so much fun watching and competing against so many talented dancers. We are pleased to share that our IHS Dance Competition Team took home First Runner-Up in the Kick division and our IJHS Dance Competition Team took home a Best Costume award for their jazz routine.

Thank you so much to Wheeling Park for being such wonderful hosts and to all of the families and friends who came to support our dancers! We’re sad to wrap up our season with both teams later this month but are so proud of how hard all of our dancers worked and all they accomplished!❤️
