Julian with first Direct Elimination win in Junior Super Junior Cadet Circuit tournament in Las Vegas upsetting the #93 seed. Not bad for a freshman at University School from Cleveland. He has 5 more years in this catagory to move up and up and up.

Nothing is more fun or rewarding than working with a fencer at their first tournament. We got the rare opportunity to do that with not 1, not 2, but 12 fencers yesterday at CFA- Beachwood. Coaches Ahmad and Eric got to pair up CFA East and West, girls and boys, tall and short, and everything in between with each other to create a fun and competitive team event. The nail biter was the two teams bouting for the bronze medal, which ended in a....tie! Crazy! A few tears, lots of smiles, and hopefully a bunch of college fencers come out of this group in a couple years! Parents. fans and students, hank you so much for attending and making it so fun! Next time in Lakewood!

CFA is proud to be hosting Denison University Head Fencing Coach Peter Grandbois on May 21st for a Q&A presentation.

Bring your questions for the coach and learn about what it’s like to be a fencer in college.

Presentation begins at 7 PM followed by drinks and snacks.

Our very own Dreyden McDaniel with his 3rd place bronze medal in the men's saber event at the first annual Wits of Steel tournament. Lost a good bout in the semifinals to a very experienced fencer from Michigan.
