Hello Happy Sharks,

A few days ago there was a house fire in Bend. I just learned that one of the families affected are previous students of mine. They lost everything and are in the thick of dealing with the aftermath: grief, finding new housing, going through the motions of day to day life, replacing what was lost, etc.

Summer Session Update:

Registration emails for the summer session have gone out to current students. On Tuesday everyone on the waitlist will also receive the registration email.

If you expect an email but haven’t received one by Wednesday, please reach out.

The spring session is now fully booked, except for a couple of spots in Parent/Tot classes. Confirmation emails will be sent out soon.

I was able to accommodate nearly everyone’s requests, with the exception of a small handful of folks. If you didn’t snag a spot this time around please try again for an upcoming session. The afternoon time slots are less competitive once school is out for the summer.

Waitlist for Spring Lessons

Registration emails for waitlisted families are scheduled to go out tomorrow morning (April 3). If you were expecting to receive an email but didn’t (waitlist or not), please reach out via email.

Also, if you don’t get a spot for the spring I highly encourage you to try again for the summer session (and/or fall + winter). Although I can’t fit everyone into the schedule at once I promise that I always try to accommodate as many people as possible.

SPRING SESSION REGISTRATION

Hello all!

Registration emails for the upcoming spring session will be going out tomorrow, April 1, to current students. Waitlisted families will receive an email a couple days later.

Please note that I am having surgery this Thursday, April 2. I have no idea how soon I’ll be able to address emails post-op, but know that I will manage the registration requests as soon as I can.

Winter 2026 Lesson News

Registration for the next session of swim lessons, which begins in February, will be opening soon. Registration emails will go out first to prior students on January 3, then to waitlisted families on January 5.
