Our hearts are heavy as Central Oregon mourns the tragic shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School. We are holding the children, families, educators, and everyone impacted by this heartbreaking event close in our thoughts.

In moments like these, we're reminded just how important community, compassion, and connection truly are. 💙

With the 6th Annual Bend Witches Paddle less than two weeks away, we hope this beloved tradition can offer our community a moment to come together, support one another, and find a little joy during an incredibly difficult time.

Witches Paddle has always been about more than costumes and paddleboards. It's about neighbors showing up for neighbors, families making memories, and a community united in its commitment to caring for children.

The witches are dusting off their hats, grabbing their paddles, and getting ready to take over the Deschutes River for one of our FAVORITE days of the year! 🧹

Join us for the Annual Bend Witches Paddle benefiting MountainStar Family Relief Nursery

📍 Launching from Riverbend Park

Calling all witches and warlocks! 🧙‍♀️✨ Grab your paddleboards and your most magical, spooky, or delightfully silly Halloween costumes for a wickedly fun paddle down the Deschutes River! 🌊

This year we’re teaming up with the Old Mill District to make it extra magical. We’re collecting diapers (sizes 4–6), wipes, and other essentials to support MountainStar families—helping parents provide safe, nurturing homes for little ones.

Spectators welcome! Cheer from the riverbanks and drop off donations to support this enchanting cause.

The Bend Witches Paddle = Halloween fun + community spirit + making a real difference!
