FM Footy Bucks County Pre-Season Camp is officially underway! ⚽️🔥

Monday night marked the beginning of a new chapter as our Director of Coaching, Coach Bamm, alongside Coach Brandon, led our travel teams through their first introduction to the FM Footy style of training, competing, and playing.

With 6 competitive travel teams representing our Bucks County location this season, the standard has been set from Day 1.

This is more than just soccer.
It’s about discipline. Intensity. Accountability. Confidence. And becoming 1% better every day.

From the very first whistle, our mission at Celta Academy has been clear: to develop not just elite soccer players, but great leaders and outstanding citizens.

As this spring season draws to a close, so does our time on the pitch under this crest, as the academy prepares to transition to the FM Footy team. But while clubs evolve and structures change, the identity built here belongs entirely to the players.

We have always played Contra Vento e Marea - against wind and tide. Through the toughest matches, the hottest days, and every challenge on and off the field, our squads showed what it means to fight with resilience, integrity, and pride. 🌊🛡️

To our players: As you step into your next chapters, carry the heart of this academy with you. Keep working hard, looking out for your teammates, and being leaders in your communities. No matter where your soccer journey takes you next, remember who you are.

Football brought us to Vigo but the memories extend far beyond the matches.
From touring the legendary Abanca Balaídos, to spending a beautiful day exploring the Cíes Islands, to relaxing together along Praia de Samil, this trip has been about much more than soccer.
These are experiences the boys will remember long after the final whistle.
The Gorilas are spending the remainder of the week enjoying Spain together before returning home to the United States with unforgettable memories, stronger friendships, and their heads held high.
Thank you, Vigo, for an experience we'll never forget. 🇪🇸

The closed out the Vigo Cup against the tournament's defending champions.
This week wasn't about chasing medals—it was about embracing an incredible opportunity.
Our U12 squad stepped onto the field against older U15 teams from around the world, challenged themselves against high-level competition, and never stopped competing.
Every match helped these players grow and they finished the tournament in the top 16 teams in the gold bracket.
Every minute wearing the Celta crest was something special.
We're incredibly proud of how these boys represented our academy, our families, and our community here in Vigo.

The second day of the Vigo Cup brought an incredible challenge.
The faced Fursan Hispania, a team that had dominated its first two opponents by scores of 9-0 and 10-0.
The Gorilas refused to back down.
Although the match finished 3-0, the defensive effort and determination shown throughout the game were something to be proud of. Every player battled until the final whistle, proving that heart and resilience matter just as much as the scoreboard.
Sometimes the biggest victories come from competing fearlessly against elite competition.

A dream start to the Vigo Cup!

The opened tournament play in Vigo with two outstanding performances, earning back-to-back shutout victories to begin the competition.

Two matches. Two clean sheets. Four goals scored. None conceded.

The boys represented with tremendous effort, discipline, and teamwork from the opening whistle. There couldn't have been a better way to begin their final tournament under the Celta crest.

Closing the chapter with championship gold! 🏆🥇🩵

​What a phenomenal finish to the season for our U-17 Celta Elite team. Competing in the PA Classics Mid-Atlantic Cup this weekend, the squad showcased immense grit and determination.

​Despite battling through intense heat and humidity, the boys remained focused, executed a brilliant team effort, and ultimately secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory in the final to claim the cup title!

​This tournament victory marks the final time this group competes under the Celta crest, and there is no better way to conclude their season than with trophy in hand.

​A massive well done to the players and coaching staff for their resilience and commitment.
