We couldn’t be more proud of Brooks Burrough for being named Legend of the Year! 🏆

Watching Brooks grow into the player and teammate he is today has been so special. His hard work, determination, heart, and love for the game are exactly what being a Legend is all about.

We are incredibly lucky to have Brooks as part of our Legends Elite family and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for #23! Keep working, keep leading, and keep making us proud, Brooks! ❤️⚾️

🏆 LEGEND OF THE YEAR: BROOKS BURROUGH 🏆

Being named Legend of the Year is about much more than talent. It means representing everything we want a Legend to be: a hard worker, a great teammate, a leader, a coachable player, and someone who genuinely loves the game.

Brooks Burrough is all of those things and he has developed into one heck of a baseball player!

Here is a fun story: Two years ago, Brooks was actually being considered to be let go from a not-so-good, up-and-coming 8U team. And if we are being completely honest, he was not exactly great at that point. 😂

Two years later, he is one of the best players on a high-caliber team and helping lead that team to championships.

Brooks has become an absolute defensive juggernaut at shortstop. His range, quick hands, arm strength, and ability to make difficult plays look routine set him apart. There are not many balls hit to his side of the field that he cannot get to. He may not be doing backflips yet, but with the way he flashes the leather at shortstop, he is almost ready to borrow Ozzie Smith’s nickname “The Wizard.”

He is also becoming one of the most dangerous and fastest-improving hitters around. Brooks has an advanced eye at the plate, understands the strike zone, and rarely gives away an at-bat. His disciplined approach, bat-to-ball ability, and growing confidence make him an extremely tough out. He does not just swing, he has a plan.

Brooks is a difference-maker on both sides of the ball, but what makes him truly special is that he remains a team-first player. He does whatever is asked of him, competes every pitch, and puts winning ahead of personal recognition. He does all of this despite the fact that he only has Josh Burrough as a father. Talk about overcoming!

This kind of improvement does not happen by accident. It comes from countless hours of work, tremendous discipline, coachability, and a genuine love for baseball. Brooks has earned every bit of the player he has become, and the exciting part is that he is still getting better.

He is a star in the making, and we could not be prouder that he puts in all this work while representing Legends the right way.

The Legendary Work Ethic Award goes to Archer Stacey!

Archer’s work ethic is absolutely unmatched. He picked up a baseball for the very first time just two years ago. Since then, he has worked his way onto one of the best teams in the state—and he isn’t just along for the ride. He is making a HUGE impact.

That is actually CRAZY if you understand how much skill the game of baseball requires. You cannot succeed on athleticism alone—even though Archer has plenty of that. Baseball demands the development of skills that usually take years and years to master. Archer is developing those skills at an incredible pace because he is willing to put in the work.

I am so proud that Archer is a Legend, and I am even prouder that he is my son’s friend. He is a great kid and a perfect example of what is possible when talent is matched with an unmatched work ethic.

Congratulations, Archer Stacey! You have earned the Legendary Work Ethic Award!

⚾ Meet Parker Ferguson #10! ⚾

When the game is on the line, there’s no one you’d rather see digging into the batter’s box than Parker. Need a clutch hit to drive in a few runs? He’s the guy you want at the plate.

On the mound, Parker attacks the strike zone with confidence. In center field, his speed lets him track down balls that most players can only watch fly by. And just to make things even tougher on the competition… he’s a switch hitter! 👀

Off the field, Parker enjoys Wednesday night Bible study with his teammates, proving that his character is just as strong as his game.

Fast, dependable, and always ready for the big moment—we can’t wait to watch #10 shine this season!

⚾️ Meet Evan #8! ⚾️

Don’t let the smile fool you—Evan is always ready to get after it! Whether he’s turning double plays at second or tracking down fly balls in center field, he’s always giving 100%.

A huge Dodgers fan with Aaron Judge as one of his favorite players, Evan brings a great attitude, a love for the game, and plenty of hustle every time he steps on the field. And if you need a snack recommendation between innings… Funyuns are his go-to (but don’t be surprised if he grabs some tomatoes or broccoli too! 🤪).

One of Evan’s favorite memories is taking his very first road trip with the team, and this season he’s focused on one goal: improving his batting and becoming an even better all-around player.

We’re excited to watch #8 continue to grow, work hard, and make big plays this season.

⚾ Meet Gatlin Johnson ⚾

When Gatlin takes the mound, he means business. Rocking #6, this future flame-thrower has one goal in mind: 60 MPH… and we wouldn’t bet against him. 🔥💪

Don’t let the calm face fool you—during baseball season he’s dealing strikes, and during the offseason he’s throwing people around on the wrestling mat! 🤼‍♂️

Fueled by gummy bears, backed by the Rangers, and walking up to Heaven on This Earth, Gatlin is proof that hard work, faith, and determination go a long way.

We’re excited to watch this young pitcher keep growing, competing, and making memories with his Legends family.

Remind them that being a Legend is about more than baseball—it’s about working hard, showing kindness, standing up for others, and being a light wherever they go.

⚾️ Meet Archer Stacey | #19 ⚾️

Don’t let the quiet confidence fool you—Archer is one of the hardest workers you’ll find. He shows up ready to put in the work, gives 100% every time he steps on the field, and is the kind of teammate every coach hopes for.

Need a spark? Archer’s speed can change a game in a hurry, whether he’s chasing down a ball in right field or flying around the bases. And while he’s still chasing that first home run this season, we have a feeling it’s only a matter of time. 💣

Fun fact: He has over 100 Nerf guns, so we’d definitely recommend not challenging him to a backyard battle! 😂

We can’t wait to watch Archer continue to grow and make big plays for the Legends this season.

Meet Caden Sikora ( #17) 💥

If there’s one thing you need to know about Caden, it’s this… a broken hand wasn’t enough to slow him down. 🤪

Most kids would’ve been asking for a spot on the bench. Caden? He was asking if he could still steal bases. That’s the kind of grit, toughness, and love for the game that every team needs.

Behind the plate, he’s always ready to shut down the running game, and this season he’s got one goal in mind: throwing runners out from home plate. Runners, consider yourselves warned. 😎

We’re excited to watch #17 continue to grow, compete, and make memories in a Legends uniform.
