ANOTHER BANNER WEEKEND FOR LEGENDS BASEBALL!!!

What a weekend for these boys and these families.

🏆 Legends Aces 9U — 1st Place
🏆 Legends Select 10U — 1st Place
🏆 Legends Futures 11U — 1st Place

🥈 Legends Select 8U — 2nd Place
🥈 Legends Elite 10U — 2nd Place

🥉 Legends Prime 9U — 3rd Place

Three champions, two runner-ups and two more teams finishing in 3rd.

That is a pretty dang good weekend.

More than anything, I love seeing so many of our teams at different stages of their journey competing, growing and putting themselves in position to win. Some are winning their first championships. Some have been doing it for a while. Some are still learning how to finish. That is what makes this whole thing fun to watch.

Proud of the players, proud of the coaches and proud of the families that keep showing up, supporting these kids and bringing the energy every weekend.

The banners keep coming.

ANOTHER BIG WEEKEND FOR LEGENDS BASEBALL!!!

GO LEGENDS!!!

LEGENDS FUTURES 11U CHAMPIONS!!!

Man this one is cool.

This group has been on a long journey. They were there for the very first season of Legends Baseball with a team that honestly barely made. They had some struggles and definitely took some lumps, but if you were paying attention you could see them getting better.

I was paying attention.

You could really see the job Coach Allen White and the rest of the coaches were doing with these boys. They were developing, competing better and starting to figure some things out. It had me excited because I really felt like they were only a few pieces away from turning the corner.

So we hit the recruiting trail.

Coach Allen told me he wanted DAWGS.

Well... we went and got DAWGS!!!

Now look at them. CHAMPIONS!!!

I am really proud of the growth of this team and proud of the families that have stuck with it and kept pushing. This is what it looks like when you keep building instead of giving up on something too early.

And I can't talk about this team without mentioning that they may have the CRUNKEST dugout and the CRUNKEST parents in the park 😂 These people bring some ENERGY.

Congratulations to Coach Allen, the coaching staff, the boys and all the Futures families on their FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP!

THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!

GO LEGENDS!!!

🔥 FORGED IN THE FIRE — LEGENDS SELECT 10U CHAMPIONS! 🔥

Some championships mean a little more because of what it took to get there.

Legends Select 10U, led by Coach Canyon Cody, has gone through the fire to become the team they are today. And through every challenge, this group has stayed committed to something bigger than simply putting together the most established roster possible.

Maybe more than any team in our organization, they have kept the focus on building a culture instead of just recruiting one.

You can see the results of that decision before you ever look at the scoreboard. You see families who genuinely care about one another. You see kids who enjoy being together and love playing the game. You see coaches and parents committed to doing things the right way.

And now, the wins are beginning to follow.

I am incredibly proud of this team because they embody so much of what we want Legends Baseball to represent. There are standards not only for what you accomplish, but for how you accomplish it. How you treat teammates. How you respond when things get difficult. How you represent your team. How you keep building when the easy answer would be to start over.

This group stayed together. They kept working. They kept believing.

And now they are CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Coach Canyon Cody, his staff, every player, and every family with Legends Select 10U. You earned this one.

Culture first. Standards always. The results will follow.

🏆 LEGENDS SELECT 10U — CHAMPIONS!
GO LEGENDS!

But they are ALL moving forward.

That is what we love most about what is happening at Legends right now. One team’s success becomes fuel for the next one. Keep working. Keep learning. Keep competing.

The climb continues.

#1 IN THE NATION.

We understand these rankings can be a little arbitrary. At the end of the day, they’re numbers spit out by a computer based on results, opponents, schedules, and who knows what else.

But you know what?

We’re still going to celebrate it for these boys.

Because the ranking may just be a number, but the story behind it is very real.

The story of becoming Legends. Let’s tell it.

If there was ever a story about grind, grit, determination, and refusing to stay where you started, this is it.

Let’s be honest. This team started as a pretty bad travel baseball team. For two years, they didn’t win a single true travel ball game.

But a group of coaches still saw something special.

They saw boys who loved the game. They saw talent. They saw families who were committed. They saw a group that didn’t need to be replaced or given up on.

They just needed to be steered.

They needed to be pushed.

They needed someone to believe in what they could become before they had proven it.

So we began to steer.

And the boys began to work.

Then the climb started.

Practice after practice. Loss after loss. Lesson after lesson. Tournament after tournament. Championship after championship.

Little by little, they stopped being the team hoping they could compete.

They became the team everyone knew they had to compete with.

This weekend felt like the culmination of years of that grind.

They walked into a STACKED field and came out on top. And when that final out was made, I watched those boys throw their gloves into the air and celebrate like it was their very first championship.

After all the rings. After all the wins. After everything they have accomplished...

this one felt different.

You could see it in their eyes.

They knew it was big.

They knew they had accomplished something special.

And now, somewhere on a computer screen, it says:

LEGENDS ELITE 10U
#1 IN THE NATION.

We’ll celebrate that.

But then we’ll get back to work.

Because our job now is to remind these boys that the ranking isn't the destination. The trophies aren't the destination. Even winning isn't really the destination.

The journey is.

And one of the coolest parts of where Legends is today is that we now have multiple teams at different stages of that same journey.

Some are just getting started. Some are learning how to compete. Some are learning how to win. Some are starting to believe they can beat anybody across from them.

They are all climbing.

And I am incredibly proud that these Elite 10U boys now get to be an example for the other Legends teams coming behind them.

They can show them what years of work can become.

They can show them that where you start does not determine where you finish.

They can inspire another group of Legends kids to keep pushing when it is hard, keep working when the results aren't there yet, and keep believing that the climb is worth it.

Keep pushing. Keep grinding. Keep climbing.

They have to keep loving the work. Loving practice. Loving competing. Loving getting better. Loving doing the things nobody sees that eventually create the moments everybody sees.

Because without loving the process, you don't keep having weekends like this.

You don't keep climbing.

And you don't become a Legend because somebody ranked you #1.

You become a Legend because of everything you did to get there.

That is how Legends are made.

Congratulations, Legends Elite 10U.
#1 in the nation.

Now keep climbing. 🔥
