I can't wait to start working with this gorgeous leather that I just got. I'll be making a belt, some armor, and 2 quiver commissions, but I'll have a lot left over after those commissions. What should I make out of it?

Also, my interns are paid a fair wage in scritches, snuggles, and treats in exchange for their labor and quality control efforts. However, I have been informed that the union plans to request more churu if the company meets its goals by the end of the year.

On top of everything that's keeping me busy, my spouse and I both caught a mystery illness that's taking us out of commission for a little bit. If I'm a bit slow to respond, I apologize. It's taking most of my energy to still make it to my day job. After I get home tonight, I'm taking a nyquil and passing out.

Also, I've had a few more people message me in the past week or two for commissions, so at this point, my waitlist is backed out until mid November at the earliest for any new projects. I'm trying to still budget time for making stock items between my commissions, because I want to vend at more events next year.

On that note, if you have any events you want to see me at next year, please send me the event details! I can do LARP events & Renaissance Faires in the southeastern US, and I'm putting together a list of what events I want to plan to attend next year.

Bad news and good news.
Bad news: my shop update is postponed by at least a few days. I had a lot of stuff come up this past week, and I underestimated how much time the update would take.

Good news: i have a lot of items that will be going in the shop! I recently made our first test batch of belt flags, which were a huge hit, and I have some stock quivers, along with a lot of other items that I'll be putting in the shop.

Follow if you want notifications for when my shop update goes live!

Thanks to everyone who supported my shop at the white oak midreign this past weekend! I had a lot of fun, and I was genuinely surprised that I fit everything in my tiny Hyundai.

I was exhausted after the event, and the next day, I helped some family move, so it'll be at least a few days before I get more of my stock back on the website. I also have a few new things in the works, so I hope to have some updates on new items in the coming weeks!

Also, credit to Mint In A Trenchcoat for the last 2 photos. They took some amazing photos of the event!

Whether working with foam or leather, this is a really good trick for working with contact cement.

Side note: careful when picking up the condiment bottles, I once accidentally squeezed it when picking one up and a bubble of DAP at the top popped and shot a drop into my eye.
