🌞 WE STARTED THE DAY WITH A STRUT AND ENDED IT WITH A BLOCK PARTY! 🎉💃🏾🏀

We kicked off the day at Legion Field Stadium with the Brenda Brown’s Bosom Buddies Sistah Strut! 💕👟 There was plenty of energy, sisterhood, smiles, and movement as our community came together to support an incredible cause.

But we weren’t done yet! 🙌🏾

We headed over to Wiggins Park for “The Block Is Lit” Block Party—and BIRMINGHAM, y’all showed OUT! 🔥🎉

From face painting 🎨 and moonwalks 🏰 to line dancing 💃🏾, basketball tournaments 🏀, and all the fun in between, the park was filled with laughter, music, community and good vibes!

And of course… we can’t forget Corry’s Food Truck! 🌮🍔🔥 Because no block party is complete without good food!

This is what community looks like. ❤️
This is what connection looks like. 🤝🏾
This is Birmingham Park & Recreation! 🌳✨
