ROOKIE OF THE YEAR -Colby Lackey - Finished the season as a State Qualifier and a record of 25-18 and 16 pins

MOST IMPROVED- Isaac Gillon - Ended with a record of 22-15 and 13 pins

AGGIE AWARD (Coaches) - Orley Hough -Most coachable wrestler and good teammate

Blake Vaughn received National Wrestling Coaches Association HS Character And Leadership All American Award.

And Blake Vaughn and Teresa Fieffer received their senior gifts.

We had a wonderful day and enjoyed finishing this season up!!

We are looking forward to next year and to see the possibilities of growth for each of these wrestlers as well as growth in team size.

He wrestled a good match and his opponent was a great sportsman.

Blake Vaughn will wrestle sometime after 12 noon CT

1-4A 144lbs

If you have Flo/Trackwrestling subscription, you can watch the score live but not the match.

Hoping though we can do a FB live for those that cannot watch!

This will be a tough match but just like life, anything is possible!

Day 2 of the AHSAA Wrestling 🤼 State Championships

Blake Vaughn won both of his matches today by pin. He will wrestle Friday and Saturday and has officially earned a place in the top 6.

Colby Lackey unfortunately lost both of his matches today. However as a first year wrestler, qualifying and going to states which is absolutely fantastic! He will come back even stronger 💪 next year.
