Have you picked out your costume yet? Maybe you can go as a Salsa or Bachata dancer! 😉
Today’s Human of DaytOn1 is Mika!! You might recognize Mika because she often is seen checking people in at the door. She also is a follow for the teachers in some of the classes. By day, Mika is a teacher! By night she is a Bachatera! Mika leads and follows so don’t be shy to ask her to dance for either role!
We asked Mika the following:
What do you enjoy about DaytOn1 Salsa?
I enjoy the community aspect. I love being able to see so many of my favorite people all in one spot.
What do you like about dance?
It helps me take my mind off of work by challenging me to learn something new.
What is your favorite Salsa and/or Bachata song? (List the genre, Salsa or Bachata, and artist too! Maybe someone else will love it as well!)
Kitipun by Juan Luis Guerra (Bachata)
What else do you do outside of Dayton1 Salsa?
Craft, Improv, video games and read.
If you had a day with no responsibilities, how would you spend it?
On the beach with good food, good friends and dancing.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
