Your weekend is part of your routine. ☀️

It’s easy to feel like you’re “on track” all week and then somehow need to get back on track Monday.

But your health doesn’t work that way.

You don’t need to eat perfectly all weekend.
You don’t need to get every workout in.
You don’t need to make up for a meal you enjoyed.
And you definitely don’t need to punish yourself with extra cardio on Monday.

Go out to dinner.
Sleep in.
Take a long walk.
Get outside.
Have the dessert.
Rest if your body needs it.

Two days aren’t going to undo your progress. And one imperfect day doesn’t mean you’ve fallen off.

The goal isn’t perfection from Monday through Friday.

It’s building a lifestyle that you can actually live with seven days a week.

Enjoy your weekend. Move because it feels good. Eat well because you care for your body—not because you’re trying to “be good.”

Then wake up Monday and simply keep going. 🤍

🌱 WEDNESDAY WELLNESS: BUILD CONSISTENCY, NOT PERFECTION 🌱

When you decide you want to get healthier, it’s easy to go ALL IN.

Workout 6 days a week.
Cut out all the “bad” foods.
Drink a gallon of water.
Wake up at 5 AM.
Change everything… overnight. 😅

And then life happens.

You miss a workout. You have a busy week. You eat something that wasn’t part of the plan—and suddenly you feel like you’ve failed.

You haven’t. ❤️

Real progress comes from creating habits you can actually sustain.

Instead of overwhelming yourself with 10 goals at once, start with ONE or TWO small, specific goals.

Try setting a SMART goal:

🎯 S — Specific: What exactly are you going to do?
📏 M — Measurable: How will you track it?
💪 A — Achievable: Is it realistic for your current life?
❤️ R — Relevant: Does it actually matter to YOU?
📅 T — Time-bound: When or how often will you do it?

For example:

❌ “I’m going to exercise more.”

✅ “I’m going to take a 20-minute walk after dinner on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next 4 weeks.”

That’s a goal you can actually work toward—and celebrate when you accomplish it. 🙌

Remember: You don’t have to completely transform your life to make progress.

Start small.
Be consistent.
Give yourself grace.
Then build from there.

What’s ONE small health or fitness goal you can commit to this week? 👇

💪 MONDAY MOTIVATION CHECK-IN! 💪

Be honest… how motivated are you to move today? 😂

🔥 10/10 — LET’S GO! I’m ready to crush it!
💪 7/10 — Not overly excited, but I’ll get it done.
😐 5/10 — I’m negotiating with myself right now…
🫠 2/10 — Does walking to the fridge count?

Whatever number you’re at, remember this:

You don’t have to feel motivated to get moving.

Sometimes motivation comes after you start—not before. A workout, a walk, some stretching, or even 10 minutes of movement can be enough to change the way you feel.

So forget perfection. Forget having the “perfect” Monday.

Just start somewhere. ❤️

Let’s see where everyone’s at today—and maybe we can motivate each other a little. 🙌

🍽️ WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST NUTRITION STRUGGLE?

Let’s talk about something that’s just as important as your workouts: nutrition.

And no, we’re not talking about eating perfectly. 🙅‍♀️

When it comes to nutrition, consistency matters far more than perfection. You don’t need to have a “perfect” diet every day to make progress. What you do most of the time matters much more than what you do occasionally.

Some of the basics that can make a BIG difference include:

🥩 Getting enough protein
🥦 Eating plenty of fruits & vegetables
🌾 Getting enough fiber
💧 Staying hydrated
🍳 Not skipping meals
⚖️ Finding a balance that you can actually maintain

But we all have those areas that are harder than others!

So let’s make this interactive. 👇

If you could magically fix ONE nutrition habit starting today, which would you choose?

🥩 Eat more protein
🥦 Eat more vegetables
💧 Drink more water
🍳 Stop skipping meals
🍪 Find more balance with treats/snacking

Drop your answer in the comments! 👇

And remember: you don’t have to change everything at once. Sometimes improving one small habit consistently is where the biggest changes begin. 💪

💪 WEDNESDAY WOULD YOU RATHER? 👇

Let’s settle some fitness debates! 😏

🏋️ Leg day OR 💪 Upper body day?

🚶‍♀️ Long walk OR 🏃‍♀️ Short run?

🧘‍♀️ Mobility & stretching OR 🔥 HIIT?

🏠 Home workout OR 🏋️ Gym workout?

And the big one…

🍑 Glutes OR 🔥 Core?

Happy Monday — and happy LAST DAY OF AUGUST! 🍂

Before we rush into September and start thinking about everything we want to accomplish, take a second to think about what you’ve already accomplished.

What got stronger?
What became easier?
What habit did you stick with?
What are you proud of?

Progress isn’t always measured in pounds or inches.
Sometimes it’s showing up when you didn’t feel like it.
Sometimes it’s lifting heavier.
Sometimes it’s having more energy.
Sometimes it’s simply refusing to quit.

What’s one fitness win you’re taking with you into September? Then let’s make September even stronger. 💪

🍞 A few of you asked for my sourdough recipe… so here it is!

After sharing my breakfast a couple of days ago, I had several clients and friends ask about the homemade sourdough bread I’ve been making. So I figured I’d share the recipe here!

But first, let’s talk about carbs. 👇

I know carbohydrates can still be a little scary for some people, especially if you’re trying to lose weight or change your body composition. But carbs aren’t the enemy. They’re an important source of energy, especially when you’re active and strength training.

One of my favorite breakfasts is simple:

🍳 Scrambled eggs
🥑 Sliced avocado
🍞 Homemade sourdough

Protein + carbohydrates + healthy fats = a balanced, satisfying meal that keeps me fueled.

Why do I love sourdough?

Sourdough goes through a natural fermentation process using an active sourdough starter — a live culture of flour and water.

That fermentation can make sourdough easier for some people to digest and may result in a lower blood-sugar response compared with some conventional breads. Fermentation can also improve the availability of certain minerals.

And when you build your loaf with nutrient-dense ingredients, you get even more nutritional benefits.

🌾 Whole grains — fiber, vitamins and minerals
🌱 Seeds & grains — flax, pumpkin, sesame and sunflower seeds add fiber, healthy fats, protein and minerals
🥣 Active sourdough starter — provides the natural fermentation
💧 Water
🧂 Sea salt

Simple ingredients. No need for a long list of preservatives or artificial additives.

And this is exactly why I don’t believe you need to fear bread or eliminate carbohydrates to eat healthy.

It’s not about cutting out an entire food group. It’s about choosing quality foods, paying attention to portions, and building balanced meals.

🍞 Homemade Sourdough Bread

Ingredients:

• 1 cup active sourdough starter
• 1½ cups warm water
• 3½ cups flour
• 1½ teaspoons sea salt
• Optional: flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or other grains/seeds you enjoy

Directions:

1️⃣ Combine your active sourdough starter and warm water in a large bowl.

2️⃣ Add the flour and salt and mix until a shaggy dough forms.

3️⃣ Cover and let the dough rest.

4️⃣ Over the next few hours, stretch and fold the dough several times to help develop the gluten.

5️⃣ Cover and allow the dough to ferment and rise until it has noticeably increased in volume.

6️⃣ Shape the dough and place it into a floured Dutch oven or proofing basket. Allow it to rest again while your oven preheats.

7️⃣ Bake in a preheated Dutch oven until beautifully golden and crusty.

8️⃣ Let it cool completely before slicing. (This is the hardest part! 😂)

I love adding seeds and grains to mine because it gives the loaf a little extra texture and adds some healthy fats, fiber, protein and minerals.

And honestly, there’s something really satisfying about making your own bread from a handful of simple ingredients. ❤️

So if you’ve been afraid of carbs, maybe this is your reminder that carbs can absolutely have a place in a healthy, balanced diet.

Eat the bread. 🍞
Fuel your body. 💪
Enjoy your food.

And if you make this recipe, let me know how it turns out!

Happy weekend!

🌟 WEDNESDAY CHECK-IN 🌟

August is almost over… 👀

Be honest — how are you feeling about your fitness routine right now?

🟢 GREEN: I’m feeling great and staying consistent!
🟡 YELLOW: I’ve been a little inconsistent lately.
🔴 RED: I’ve completely fallen off.
🔵 BLUE: I’m ready for a fresh start!

Drop your color below 👇 No judgment! We all have seasons where we’re more consistent than others.

And remember…

💪 There are still 5 days left in August.

Five days to move your body.

Five days to get your protein in.
Five days to take a walk.
Five days to prioritize yourself.

You don’t have to wait until September 1st.
You don’t have to start perfectly.

Monday Morning Reminder: Don’t Forget to EAT. 🍳🥑🍞

One of the biggest mistakes we see—especially when people are trying to lose weight, get stronger, or “eat healthier”—is simply not eating enough.

Sometimes it’s intentional.
Sometimes it’s because they’re trying to save calories for later.
And sometimes we hear, “I just don’t have time to eat/ make something.”

Your body needs fuel.
Your muscles need protein.
Your brain needs energy.
And your workouts need something to work with. 💪

Breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated, and it certainly doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to feed you.

This was breakfast this morning:
🍳 2 eggs + egg whites
🥑 ½ avocado
🥣 A big scoop of cottage cheese
🍞 Homemade sourdough with a little olive oil

When you make breakfast, try to keep it simple. Make something you enjoy, something that doesn’t require a lot of thought or preparation, and something you know is going to be a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.

Because eating well doesn’t have to mean spending an hour in the kitchen every morning. Sometimes it just means having a few simple, go-to meals that you know work for you.

Eating more intentionally doesn’t mean eating less. It means giving your body what it needs.

So this Monday, before you get caught up in your to-do list, ask yourself:

“Have I actually fueled myself today?”

Your body deserves to be fed—not punished. ❤️

💪 Flex & Reflect Friday

How did you show up for yourself this week?

Maybe you got every workout in.
Maybe you took a walk when you really didn’t feel like it.
Maybe you finally got some extra sleep.
Maybe you made a better food choice.
Maybe you simply kept going through a really hard week.

Progress isn’t always measured in pounds lifted or inches lost.

Sometimes the biggest win is keeping a promise to yourself. ❤️

So tell us:

👇 What’s ONE thing you’re proud of yourself for this week?

Big or small—it counts.

Happy Friday! Go into the weekend knowing that you’re making progress. 🫶
