CORRIVAL FLOOD RELIEF BENEFIT — FUN OBSTACLE CLASS
After last week’s devastating flooding forced Corrival Ranch to evacuate, we were grateful to be able to open our doors and provide a safe temporary home for their horses during an incredibly difficult time. We’re glad to have them here while Corrival begins the work of recovering and determining what comes next, and we’re proud to stand beside our fellow horse people.
Now we’re inviting the local horse community to come together for a fun obstacle class supporting Corrival Ranch and the horses in its care.

You Asked. We Listened. Intermediate Horse Camp 2 is happening!
Several parents asked us to offer another Intermediate Horse Camp, so we added one more week:
Intermediate Horse Camp 2
July 20–24
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
In The Irons Equestrian Center
This camp is for riders who are ready for a little more — more riding, more horse care, more confidence-building, and more fun with other horse-loving kids.
Minimum experience level: strong walk/trot rider. Riders should be able to steer, post the trot, maintain spacing, and ride independently in a group. Cantering experience is helpful but not required.
We currently have a small group signed up, and we’d love to add a few more riders to make this a great week. If your child has been wanting more saddle time this summer, this is the one!

Summer isn’t over yet — and horse camp is still enrolling!
Horse camp: because “go outside and do something” sounds better when horses are involved.
At ITI camps, kids ride, groom, learn, laugh, get dirty, build confidence, and come home tired in the very best way.
They may also come home talking nonstop about “their” horse.
We apologize in advance.
A few spots are still open for our remaining summer camps:
Beginner Camps:
July 13–17 and August 3–7 (Ages 5-12)
Intermediate Camp:
July 20–24 (for kids who've mastered the posting trot and ready to canter)
9 AM–2 PM
Register at ITICAMP.COM.
P.S. Not looking for camp, but interested in regular riding lessons? We’re also accepting a limited number of new lesson students this summer. Give us a call (210) 698-5270 and we’ll help you find the right starting point.

We would like to welcome new instructor, Cora Kim, to the In The Irons family!
Cora recently moved here from Maryland and is experienced in working with riders of all ages. Her riding background includes eventing and show jumping.
Cora especially enjoys teaching children and helping riders build confidence through correct basics, steady progress, and a positive learning environment. She also has tons of horse camp experience and we're excited that she will help lead our beginner horse camp next week!
Her approach is encouraging and supportive while still helping riders develop the focus, confidence, and steady mindset that riding requires.
We’re excited to have Cora at In the Irons and can't wait for our riders and campers to get to know her!
