Where are all my artistic softball players at?!
I’m in the final stages of creating my book, “Beyond the Diamond: A Playbook for On and Off the Field.” This is so much more than a softball book. It’s an interactive workout for my girls that dives into so many different parts of the game, both on and off the diamond. Think: how to set goals, mental game, how to be a good teammate, how to lead, etc.
Now, I need YOUR help! I’m looking for a creative and artistic softball player who wants the opportunity to bring their own vision to life by designing the cover of my book! I don’t want to give you a bunch of direction because I want you to take your creativity and run with it.

Footwork drill to get moving and warmed up.
For righties, footwork will be right, left, right, left, field. Lefties will do the opposite. I am rolling the ball as they are going over the cones the first time.
Focus on:
•Staying in an athletic position throughout the drill.
•Keeping your upper body and glove as quiet as possible.
•Staying light on your feet.
•Timing your footwork so your glove foot is landing as the ball reaches your glove. This timing helps keep your momentum moving through the ball and toward your target.

I had the incredible honor of speaking at the USSSA Fastpitch All American Games Opening Ceremony a couple of days ago. Standing in front of more than 3,000 athletes, families, and coaches and having the opportunity to share a message is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s a privilege and an honor that I’m truly grateful for!
