Offseason wrestling has officially begun, and the Spartans and Gators are already getting after it!

Good luck to Brentley, Ryan, Graydon, and Garrett as they compete this weekend at the KYUSA Folkstyle State Championship. We’re proud of the work you’ve put in and can’t wait to see you represent Warren County Wrestling on the mat.

Three years ago, Warren County Wrestling took 8 middle school wrestlers to the state tournament.

Today, we get to watch almost all of them step on the mat at the Region 2 Tournament — representing their respective high school teams.

Watching their growth, dedication, and hard work come full circle is what it’s all about. From middle school state qualifiers to high school region competitors… the journey continues.

Do you ever stop and think about how much of an impact one person can make?

Just a few short years ago, wrestling was nonexistent in Warren County. One person believed in the sport, knew how powerful it could be for kids, and decided to build something from the ground up. Those early years were small, but the vision was big.

Now look at us.

This season, all four Warren County high schools have wrestling teams — South Warren, Warren East, Warren Central, and Greenwood. What started as a dream is now a movement.

Today, we get to watch all four programs come together to compete in the Battle in the Swamp at Greenwood. A powerful reminder of how far we’ve come and how bright the future is for wrestling in our community. 💪🤼‍♂️
