At THNDR Performance, we’re not running random “conditioning” workouts or making athletes tired just to sweat. Every session is built with purpose — using structured, age-appropriate, periodized training designed to improve:

• Kiddos (10–12): 10:00–10:45am
• Middle School: 11:15am–12:00pm

Lee turned 80 years old two weeks ago… and today he deadlifted 205 pounds. 💪

I’ve been working with Lee for almost a year now and he continues to impress me every week. He always walks in ready to work, ready to learn, and somehow always wanting a little more weight on the bar. 😂

What I love most is what training has done outside of the gym. We’re chasing strength, independence, confidence, and longevity — while having a good time doing it.

And if James Brown is playing in the gym… just know Lee is about to lock in. 🎶⚡

8:30 Mom Strength = Back Squat Day 👊

This is the final phase of our 3-month program.
And no one “jumped” into barbell back squats.

This was earned.

These women built the foundation first.
They worked through injuries.
Through busy schedules.
Through doubt.

Now they’ve earned the bar.

Bar on the traps.
Elbows down. Back tight.
Feet slightly out. Spread the floor.
Big breath in. Brace. Hold.

Load the hips and drive.

5x5. No wasted reps.
Strong positions. Strong moms. 💪

MULTI-SPORT IN-SEASON TRAINING

One of the most common mistakes athletes make is what happens after a great offseason.

They grind all winter.
Get stronger. Faster. More explosive.
Enter the season feeling like a completely different athlete…

Then they stop training.

As the season goes on, that strength and power slowly fades. By the end of the year, they’re often the same athlete they were the season before — and all that offseason work gets lost.

On the flip side, some athletes try to train exactly the same way in-season as they did in the offseason. Practices, games, travel, and lifting all stack up… and that’s when fatigue, soreness, and overuse injuries start to show up.

That’s why in-season training has to be strategic.

At THNDR Performance, in-season training is designed to:
• Maintain (and sometimes improve) strength & power
• Keep athletes explosive and resilient
• Reduce injury risk
• Support performance on game day — not take away from it

Sessions are full-body, controlled, and intentional. We start with simple speed, power, and change-of-direction work, then move into strength training with just enough volume to keep the stimulus — without overtaxing the body or nervous system.

This isn’t the time to chase PRs.
It’s about showing up to every game feeling strong, fast, and ready, not worn down.

With baseball and lacrosse season right around the corner, this is exactly how we help athletes hold onto the gains they worked so hard for in the offseason.

9 weeks of showing up and putting the work in.

Caroline didn’t chase shortcuts or quick fixes — she just stayed consistent.

The result: faster acceleration, better change of direction, more power, and a lot more strength, all without adding much bodyweight.

This is what happens when training has a plan and you stick to it.

And we’re not done yet. There’s still more speed to build, more power to unlock, and a lot of growth ahead. But this is a really strong start.
