Wintech & King at National Schools’ Regatta 2026 was an amazing weekend of results, with our crews taking home 31 medals including 12 golds. Some iconic races included Championship Open Quads, where Windsor took the win by two seconds, with Borlase taking bronze beating Leander by just 0.17 seconds.

Sir William Perkins’ also had some great results in the WinTech shells, taking home silver in J16 girls quads and the gold medal in J15 Girls Quadss. The podium of J15 Girls Quads was then completed by Headington and Marlow, both also in WinTech shells.

Our team at Oarsport also had two pop-ups located across the lake, supporting our new and existing customers with everything from last minute purchases, to questions where their expertise across the last 35 years in the UK Rowing Community was available to all WinTech and King athletes and coaches.

BUCS Regatta Open Beginner 8 Winners - University of Nottingham

Wintech Medalist crew Nottingham started the day off strong on the penultimate day of BUCS Regatta, winning the time trial by 5 seconds moving onto the semi finals. Further winning that race they lined up in the A final against last years 1st and 2nd place finishers (Queen’s Belfast and Surrey).

It was a tight race for the whole course, but Nottingham consistently sat half a second up on Queen’s down the track. Approaching the finish, it was too close to call, with the photo finish placing Nottingham in 1st, by just 0.08 seconds, roughly one bowball.

Congratulations to Nottingham for one of the most exciting races of the day! If you are looking to be on the right side of a photo finish, get in touch to see how WinTech can help you reach your potential on the water.

Happy Earth Day! 🫶🌍

When it comes to manufacturing boats, keeping the environment in mind is part of our process. In a major upgrade to our manufacturing facilities, our core focuses were clean air, water and solar power.

With only two months to go until the 2026 Australian Rowing Championships, we take a look back on some of the 2025 results including a first place finish in the U21 W2x and the U17 M1x both in WinTech Cobras.

WinTech FLX hull shapes were also used to claim second place in both the Schoolgirl and Schoolboy Singles. We can’t wait to see what crews bring home from Tasmania in March 💪🇦🇺
