🥈 918 SHOWDOWN • 2ND PLACE 🥈
What a weekend for Gametime ###II!
These girls battled through 8 games, finishing 6–2 and taking 2nd place at the 918 Showdown!
And when we say they battled, we mean it. 💪
This weekend tested our grit in more ways than one. We dealt with numerous injuries to several players, which meant girls were asked to step into different roles, take on new responsibilities, and be ready when their number was called.
And step up they did. 🔥
Sunday also brought a matchup with our sister team, Gametime NEOK XII, and it was a battle from start to finish. Both teams competed hard, and ###II came out on top 9–5. Nothing better than seeing two Gametime teams on the same field competing and representing the program!
❤️💛🖤
Our only two losses of the weekend came against an older, excellent Tulsa Elite 30/31 team. After falling to them Saturday, our girls fought their way through Sunday and earned another shot at them in the championship game.
There were big hits, great defensive plays, tough innings, tired legs, girls playing through adversity, and teammates stepping up for one another all weekend long.
That’s grit. That’s growth. That’s TEAM.
Proud of our Gametime ###II stars and ready to keep building!
No Excuses. All Grit. It’s Gametime.
❤️💛🖤
