Every round, every late night, every time I was tired and didn’t feel like going—I had people beside me pushing me forward. That kind of support… you can’t fake that.
And to my kids… this is everything.
I wanted you to see this up close. Not just the win—but what it takes to get here. The hard days. The discipline. The belief when things don’t go your way.
So you grow up knowing that through hard work, dedication, and believing in yourself… you can achieve anything.

Happy Birthday, Don Richard.
You’re one of the men who gave me the bricks. The lessons, the standards, the way this game is supposed to be lived—not just practiced. A lot of what people see today inside our gym, they don’t realize traces back to the guidance you gave me years ago.
It’s more than technique. It’s how to carry yourself, how to lead, how to stay solid when things get hard. That foundation shows up every single day on our mats, in our culture, and in the people we’re building.
I’m grateful for the time, the knowledge, and the friendship you’ve given me over the years. That kind of loyalty and mentorship doesn’t get overlooked—it gets passed on.
