The #1 destination for entertainment in The Brazos Valley! Train to become a professional wrestler!

10/29/2026

It all started at FIGHT TO UNITE 5 last June.

After recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon, Drake Durden made his long-awaited return. That same night, Marcio Santos won the battle royal and earned the opportunity to donate $500 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Brazos Valley.

But Marcio had other plans. Instead of giving back to the community, he chose to keep the money for himself.

That’s when Drake Durden stepped in.

The man of the people wasn’t going to stand by and let it happen. And from that moment on, these two have been at war.

Since June, they’ve fought across venues, sabotaged each other’s championship opportunities, and made it their mission to ruin one another’s night. Neither man is willing to back down, and neither man is willing to let the other have the last word.

Now, at HERE TO STAY 9, this rivalry reaches a whole new level of violence.

DRAKE DURDEN vs. MARCIO SANTOS
THE FIRST-EVER TEXAS BULL ROPE MATCH IN LIONS PRIDE SPORTS HISTORY!

Both men will be tied together by a bull rope, leaving nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Every punch, every pull, and every moment of punishment will bring them closer to settling a feud that has been building for months.

This isn’t about championship opportunities anymore. This isn’t about proving a point.

This is about two men who absolutely cannot stand each other, finally being forced to settle it face-to-face.

And when these two collide, the entire building better be ready.

For over half a year, Jak Calloway and Dre Hendrixx have been locked in a rivalry that has pushed both men past the point of no return.

Both men started their journeys at Lions Pride Sports. But their paths couldn’t have gone in more different directions.

Jak Calloway left his home in pursuit of other dreams and opportunities. Dre Hendrixx stayed behind, dedicating himself to Lions Pride Sports, helping assist at the wrestling school, and keeping the LPS name alive in Aggieland.

Once brothers. Once best friends. Now bitter enemies.

Singles matches. Street fights. Falls Count Anywhere. Betrayals. Opportunities ruined. Lines crossed that can never be uncrossed.

At this point, it’s no longer about respect. It’s no longer about proving who’s better. It’s personal.

And at HERE TO STAY 9, these two men will make history.

LIONS DEN CHAMPIONSHIP
30-MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH
JAK CALLOWAY vs. DRE HENDRI###

For the first time in Lions Pride Sports history, the Lions Den Championship will be contested in a 30-Minute Iron Man Match. When the clock hits zero, the man with the most combined falls and submissions will walk away as champion.

Thirty minutes to settle a rivalry that has consumed them for over six months. Thirty minutes to determine who is truly the best. Thirty minutes where every second, every fall, and every mistake could change everything.

Who will stand tall when the clock runs out?

For Trent Mercer, this isn’t just another championship match. This is the culmination of a year that has tested him in every possible way.

His tag team partner betrayed him. His manager turned their back on him. He fought his way to victory in the Aggieland Rumble, only to have his championship opportunity stolen away by a distraction from his former partner. All summer long, Trent clawed his way back, finally eliminating the man who betrayed him from LPS.

Then, just when the road to the Lions Pride Sports Championship opened up, tragedy struck. With the championship relinquished and a tournament set to crown a new champion, Trent suffered a torn shoulder that threatened to end his journey before he could reach the finish line.

But Trent Mercer refused to give up.

Now, the doctors have cleared him. The shoulder is healed. And the opportunity he’s chased for so long is finally here.

LIONS PRIDE SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP
VIN PARKER vs. TRENT MERCER

On Sunday, November 15th, at HERE TO STAY 9, our NINE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT, Trent Mercer steps into the biggest match of his career with one goal: to finally become Lions Pride Sports Champion.

Nine years of Lions Pride Sports. One night. One championship. One man’s chance to prove that no betrayal, no setback, and no injury can keep him from his destiny.

Is this the night Trent Mercer finally reaches the mountaintop? Or will Vin Parker end the journey before the dream becomes reality?
