Building Stronger Leaders and Stronger Dojangs

During the 2026 WTSDA Masters Clinic, members participated in business and leadership discussions focused on student development, instructor growth, retention, operations, and strengthening the member experience.

Thank you to all of the presenters, contributors, and attendees who shared their knowledge and experiences. The strength of our Association comes from members helping members grow.

What an incredible weekend of training, learning, fellowship, and growth at the 2026 US Masters Clinic!

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this event such a tremendous success. From the dedicated support staff and security personnel to the outstanding instructors who generously shared their knowledge and experience, your efforts helped create an exceptional experience for all participants.

A special thank you to Master Brian Fisher for his leadership and coordination of the clinic. Your commitment and attention to detail ensured a well-organized and meaningful event for everyone involved.

We also want to recognize Master Paul Mimidis and his team for being such gracious hosts. Your support with logistics, transportation, and countless behind-the-scenes details helped make the clinic run smoothly from start to finish.

Most importantly, thank you to all the Masters who traveled from near and far to participate. Events like this remind us that our organization extends far beyond individual schools and regions. Together, we continue to strengthen our international community, united by shared values, mutual respect, and lifelong friendships.

The World Ki Gong Clinic is happening July 15-16 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, right before the competition begins. Drop in for one session or several. Each one stands completely on its own.
Ki Gong is the Um to Tang Soo Do's Yang. It is the practice that takes you deeper into the art you already love. WKG instructors from across the WTSDA come together to share their best: ancient practices like the Five Animal Sports and Eight Pieces of Brocade, breath and healing work, meditation, and sessions designed specifically for competition readiness and performance anxiety.

WTSDA Operational Vice President Position

The WTSDA Board thanks Master Nicole Peterman for her tireless efforts as OVP. Master Peterman has stepped down from this position, but will continue to lead the World Championship Management Team, and operate her studio.
