Believe I have a boat that is ready for a good washing and a good coat of wax to protect this SHINE I just got done putting on her. Owner of this boat is out of town all week and will not be back until this weekend to pick this boat up so in no real big hurry. Will more than likely wait until late this evening to wash it and then start laying some wax tomorrow morning. Will put the keel guard on this boat after I get done waxing. Will also get everything else I took off this boat to clean her up back on once I lay the wax.

Nice assortment of Urchin Hooks heading out the door today. Got Frog Hooks/Weights, Top and Bottom Weight EWG Hooks and Weedless EWG Hooks on this order. Also got my oven full of 1/0 Swing Hook Neds that will be going out today. Once I get everything put in the mailbox, going to brave this heat and got 1 more side to do on this boat before she will be ready for a good bath and some wax.

The top cap on this ole Nitro is loving the polish I just laid on her and is now glowing. Can see your reflection in the black. Except for the splash well and console, the top cap is done except for laying some wax. Will knock out the splash well and console first thing in the morning. Owner of this boat is stopping by tomorrow to drop off a keel guard I am going to install once I am done with everything else. Pretty sure he is going to love how this boat is starting to look.

Black, by far is the hardest color to do on a boat when it comes to buffing and polishing. Took me 3 times of compounding to get the top cap like it should look and like I wanted it to look. Still need to polish it so will pop even more once I do that. The blue on this boat is really pretty.

Amazing what a really good washing and some elbow grease will do. Been a long time sense this boat has been this clean. Just got done spraying the seats with a good mold and mildew spray and going to let that soak for a few minutes before cleaning the inside of this boat before I head to go visit my father down at the VA. Will put this boat in my shop when I get home this afternoon and start compounding the top cap and sides this weekend.

Getting all 6 lock nuts and bolts off and picking this big heavy SOB up off the boat is a job for 2 people but managed it all by my lonesome. Not bad for an ole man that will be 65 in a couple days. Will damn sure recruit me a little help when I put it back on though.

This ole gal is going to need a lot of cleaning along with a lot of compounding and polishing to make her SHINE again !!

Did not know or realize that the first boat I pulled down the highway with my new truck would be somebody else's. Got a message on my phone early this morning from a customer letting me know he was bringing his boat my way for me to detail. Hour or so later I got a phone call asking for help from the same guy. Had a major blowout on his boat trailer down on 78 highway at the West Holly Springs exit. Did not have a jack with him or anything to get the tire off. I loaded everything up and drove down to help him change the tire. Just hooked the boat to my truck and pulled it to my house.

Will start pulling stuff off this boat sometime later this evening. Give it a good bath later this evening or in the morning. Doubt I will do anything with it on Friday but will start buffing on this boat this weekend. Not real sure yet if I will have to do any wet sanding on this boat. Going to try and just buff it with a hvy grit compound first to see if it will get off what little oxidation this boat has on it.
