Please call Byron Center Township offices if you have questions regarding the new E Bike/Scooter/Motorized Vehicle Ban/ordinance. I did NOT write it, I didn't post the signs. I am reporting what I have been told by police, fire and township officers etc.

You can assume one thing, they are Targeting the extremely rude rowdy youth that have basically created a gang. I support banning vehicles of any kind with a motor gas or electric if they need to to prevent such activities.

That being said they again are not looking for your grandma with her class 2 going 10 mph. Just use common sense here y'all.

Talk to your kids and if they don't respect you, take the bikes and toss them in a dumpster. WOW!! Why you ask? If they don't respect you, they won't respect authorities.

Byron Township's new ordinance bans e-bikes and scooters from sidewalks starting Wednesday after neighbor complaints about safety. Read the full story through the link in the comments.

As an announcement if you do not already know, Byron Center Mi has now a very wide open stated BAN on E bikes and scooters effective now.
Primary BAN is the use of these items on walkways including the Kent Trail.
